Wukong W and Fiora W Interaction

So I was playing Wukong vs Fiora yesterday, and found it odd that wukong's clone wouldn't block the riposte damage/slow. If the clone can take ignites zed ult etc shouldn't it be able to block Fiora's riposte?

edit: So the damage should go through the clone, however based on how the clone interacts with other things that are only applicable to champs, the slow shouldn't be able to go through the clone and hit me.... I would be curious to see if other clones have this issue like shaco and lb.
