Too many lag spikes. Goodbye.

I am quitting League.

I enjoy the game, but because of incessant lag spikes, the game has become completely unplayable. I am sick of being a dominant force in ranked games hamstrung by lag spikes that cause my death and the death of my teammates. It ruins the experience.

I have been troubleshooting exhaustively and there is no way it is a problem on my end. Either it's a Riot-specific issue or something isn't working well between Riot and my ISP. I've played many games online and this is the only game where I have lag issues of this nature.

It's sad, because I am passionate about following the competitive scene in league. It is my version of what pro football is for so many other people in my country. It adds value to my life.

I hope for others that issues like this get resolved, but you have one less fan, Riot.

I get spikes in my games constantly these days too. Everyone in the game gets them so I know it's not my doing. Get them bare minimum 4 times a game.

Agreed. I have went through countless checklists and nothing helps. NO OTHER PROBLEMS PLAYING OTHER ONLINE GAMES.

Some games the lag begins at the 9 minute mark, some games it starts at 15 minutes, and some around 25 to 30 minutes. But they are CONSISTENTLY starting around the same times. It must be an action- or a certain purchase. Either way, absolutely sick of it. Sometimes I could get lucky and run through a spot that "miraculously" fixes the lag- almost like Riot's server wasn't exactly certain where my character should be until I run over the spot in which it was lost. Sound stupid? IT SURE DOES- AND IM DONE WITH THIS CRAP. HIRE SOME REAL PROGRAMMERS.
