if Azir is supposed to be a siege champ why does he have no sustain?

his soldiers autoattacks should count as single target and give the full % spellvamp

He doesn't need sustain.

Azir is already a very powerful champion once you reach a certain point in the game.

In teamfights, he may as well be a tank, because of all the AOE damage he is doing from his soldiers in teamfights, which will now heal him thanks to your idea, is going to keep him alive forever.

Azir is in a fine spot.

Edit: And if azir REALLY needed a buff, it's generally a better idea to let the diamonds, masters, and challengers that are helping riot with these ideas.

Edit 2: You don't even play azir. Why the fuck are you suggesting buffs? Are you trolling?

I didn't say he needs buffs, the idea of his kit just seems weird without any sustain. Every high elo vod I've seen of him people don't even use his passive, they just play him like any other AoE mage because his damage is so high.

Jayce is a siege champion. Does he have built in Health sustain? Xerath? Ziggs? Lux?

His Passive is either used to help him siege or to anti-siege.

He's good for both. You must not watch a lot of high elo azirs or your watching specific parts only.

those are poke champions, Azir is unique in that a part of his kit requires him to be near a broken tower, he is more along the lines of Heimer, who gives himself, nearby teammates and his turrents massive health regen from his passive

Azir is not defined by his passive. It is just a benefit to his already powerful siege, anti-siege, and disengage power.

His passive is the most useful the first 10-30 minutes to force people away from turrets to allow yourself some time to focus on whatecever your objective is at that moment: To either defend yourself, such as when waiting for crucial cooldowns such as sejuani ultimate while defending from a siege to your inhibitor, or as a little bit of security when your busy going ham.

Edit: dude... Azir is nothing like heimerdinger... like. what? The only thing they share is that they can spawn a unit that does damage.

If your going to make comparisons, then compare him to people that are actually of his class, such as Jayce,Nidalee,Xerath,Ziggs.. and the list goes on.

I'm going to go for sleep, i'll check this in the morning.

lets be real here.. Azir's a minionmancer all his shit's pretty unique and you pick his passive???

Sieging is a subclass of poke champions.

It's defined by having heavy wave clear and strong poke damage to prevent the enemy team from getting much if any damage to your tower.

Furthermore applying 100% spellvamp to Azir's soldier AAs makes no sense as they deal AoE damage since the AA deals damage past the initial strike similar to Bard's AAs enhanced by meeps.

if you think ziggs isn't a seige champ this entire thread is invalid he is an extremely good seige champ

Well to be fair, his passive is quite odd, although unique, but I find it kinda useless.

I replied to the OP's comment about why it is useful if that helps you.

Do you build spellvamp on siege mages? If so, why? I don't think that could possibly be efficient. AOE spells only heal for 1/3rd of the damage. So.

No... With his range and high damage out put he would be really broken with spell vamp. If anything he needs to be able to kite a little more effectively but even without that he is in a great spot.

Siege champs don't have sustain. A few of them have shields (Karma, Lulu, etc) but pretty much none of them have sustain.

Add Soraka to the team, done.
