I've seen the hate on these champions growing on boards so i kinda want to see what ideas boards has for them.

Pyke

  • Heavily reduce the gray health he gets from taking damage
  • Let him gain a portion of the damage he deals as gray health. (This makes his sustain not-free and requires him to commit Mana and land skillshots to break even in trades)
  • Lower damage on Q and E, but have them do increased damage to enemies near full health (This solidifies his role as a support-assassin. His job is to get people low for his teammates to finish off or for his ult to finish off)
  • Improved utility (better slow on Q, ghosting and movement speed while E phantom is active)
  • Worse ult (increase cast time to 1 second, 1 second delay between casts, no more double gold)

Yasuo

  • Windwall no longer lingers (i.e., it's just a projectile) but the cooldown scales down much harder with rank (down to ~10 seconds at max rank) (He can block a spell, but he can't hide behind/inside the wall to trade)
  • Ult only works with actual knockups (no more pushes, pulls, or knockdowns that are technically classified as knockups to be tidy)
  • If Yasuo takes damage while he doesn't have max Flow, he loses Flow proportional to the damage taken. The Flow he loses is halved for auto attacks.
  • Passive shield size drastically increased, but decays over the duration. (Enemies can keep Yasuo from getting his shield with constant aggression, but if he does manage to get it, it's stronger against burst damage)

I don't think yasuo is that bad, but I think his passive should be changed. There's no reason he should get a shield just for walking when he's already so difficult to hit in the first place

as a pyke player and someone who has always been of the opinion that yasuo is not OP, i would...

  • fully revert the crit rework --> but keep current ER and IE, and remove shojin altogether
  • revert yasuo's passive compensation buff
  • reduce his w duration by 1 second
  • increase the cooldown on his rank 3 R by a bit

  • remove pyke's ability to give himself "your cut"
  • reduce the gold share of "your cut" by half (or more)
  • revert his AoE nerfs
  • make his passive require not taking damage for about 2 seconds (so he can actually be finished off by ignite)
  • increase his mana costs --> i can spend the entire laning phase spamming and missing q and still get my first back at around 25% mana

Ignite should reveal pyke in his W (thus disabling it)

I think yasuo should need 3 crit items for 100% not 2. And then buff him accordingly (he should also not get the decreased crit damage)

Pyke Pyke such a disgusting champion even as an ally. https://matchhistory.euw.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/EUW1/4194138063/2031123434525184?tab=overview

A support champion shouldn't be like this.

What i would do is:

Slightly change pyke's passive. Maybe add a minute cooldown on it or something, so there is room to play against him with poke. Also reduce his base damages and increase his scalings in return, so he doesn't one shot people as full tank. (Not sure how it works, but if your cut gives the shutdown gold to your team, flat it out and make it always give 300. If that's not how it works, ignore this.)

Leave Yasuo unchanged. Right now he is perfectly fine the way he is. If you are good, you do well, if you are bad you don't. He is neither overpowered nor underpowered right now, so there's no reason to change him.

Yasuo -- Remove 2x crit passive (why should a fighter/bruiser be allowed to cap 100% crit at 2/3 items??). Everything else in his overloaded kit I can deal with, but up to 2K free gold in stats really doesn't feel fair or necessary.

Pyke -- Adjust his W & passive interaction. Make it so Pyke MUST hide in bush (rather than just press W) in order to heal back lane harass effectively. Maybe reduce in-combat passive healing to 50% to make him less slippery when caught. Remove 2x "Your cut" for Pyke. 900 gold + assists gold for ONE kill? Are you kidding me?

Note: No "champion hate" here. Yasuo and Pyke's stats and "mini-kits" (kits within their QWER kits) are over-tuned compared to other champions in this game

Yasuo: tie the windwall strength to his passive. I dont think he should get 2 super strong free damage escapes, when he's already got enough ways to avoid damage with E and knockups.

  • If he has high flow, then it's a strong wall. Promoting skillful engagement, not just going all in like an assassin then 1v5ing.
  • If he has low or no flow, then the wall dissipates earlier. Punishing poor judgement, and making him less of a 1v9 machine

Yasuo is perfectly fine all you have to do is look at the winrates in low elo and then high elo. Most people don't know how to play against him so they bitch instead.

By never releasing them.

Remove his windwall and replace it with something else, the hate for Yasuo doesn't come from him being OP, it comes from him being frustrating to play against and windwall is a very big reason as to why he is, furthermore show to the enemies his E cooldown on minions so you can at least keep track of where he can and can't dash to.

Yasuo : Rework his Windwall to have a charge-based system (the Windwall breaks after being hit by X number of projectiles) that increases with each level he puts into it, as well as making it spawn in front of him; not from him, and making it so that it can only block projectiles IN FRONT of the Windwall; not behind or to the side. If need be, reduce its cooldown to something reasonable.

I'd also tie his passive's strength to his Windwall's rank, so that he has to choose which playstyle he wants, whether it be the high mobility high damage URF mode assassin/duelist or the tactical utility based crit carry who sponges up damage and counters projectile based teams.

Also, right off the bat I'd remove the bonus armour pen. he gets from his ultimate. If he wants to shred tanks he should have to purchase armour pen.

Remove the cooldown refund on his Q when he EQs (when it's at ~0.7 sec). While I do also enjoy how mechanical he is, and I abuse this technique, it has to go.

These changes would likely leave him being somewhat weak, so I'd say buff his resistances by 2 each, and buffing his attack damage by 1-2 and go from there.

Pyke : His stun hitbox needs to be fixed as its broken right now, like legitimately broken. Sometimes it hits you when it shouldn't, other times it just doesn't hit someone despite them being in the trail. Remove the lethality scaling for his stun's duration.

Ignite disables his passive and reveals him. Or better yet, rework his passive into being something a little less ridiculous.

Allow Pyke to damage minions with E again.

100% remove the bonus gold he gets from his ult, I mean like revert the buff. Everyone agrees it's ridiculous and nonsensical. On that note I'd also probably buff its base damage slightly in exchange for drastically lowering its scaling for execute range. Even while ahead Pyke is still a support, he shouldn't be dealing 1/2 of someone's HP as true damage.

There are also some bugs on his ult, so I'd say fix those as well.

A big problem with Yasuo is kinda 3 fold:

First his windwall. Just get rid of it. Rather they replaced it with an ability that gave him a shield or sustain then something that just makes him immune to skillshots.

Second, remove the double crit passive. Losing lane should mean something to him but because of his passive once he gets one item he spikes regardless of his laning.

Third, He has way too much synergy with knock up champs and its braindead easy to build a team around him without much you can do. Doesnt matter how crappy the yasuo is they will baby him and setup easy kills for him which is extra bad because it doesnt need many items.

Point number 3 is probably why i perma ban him. I mostly can deal with his windwall personally.

Pyke 10% healing - 100% per level.

Yasuo Get rid of free 2000 gold passive of free crit.

Or goodbye windwall and it never comes back in the game ever.

Balanced :)
