Any Advice from experienced Kayn Mains?

Im still kinda new to the game and I made the decision to main Kayn. I know he is kind of weak early game for jungle but becomes a beast laters with how versatile he is. Kind of the reason I picked him. For some reason though, I always end up getting shut down so bad in the beginning that Im behind by end game when I transform. Any advice? He's easily my favorite champion with how edgy he is.

your probably making more game mistakes rather then kayn mistakes, jungle is all about game knowledge. where to be, when to be ,why to be.

Exactly what tankzaki wrote but with kayn u need to be aware of what you can do with your champ and kayn isnt really strong so the best way is to gank lanes that can do well even without or just power farm in jg and pick free kills when its possible. And when you are already ganking you dont gank for kill, just for a "chunk", just proc your spells and go back, with autoattacks and long CDs you wont achieve much if given target doesnt already have really low HP.

Okay. Your early game isn’t nearly as weak as it seems, it just takes a little work around. You’re still weaker than most champions but it’s not as big a gap.

You can increase your clear speeds by using your q into a wall that you can’t get all the way through.

If you see enemy chickens. STEAL ENEMY CHICKENS. That alone can give you a massive lead.

And now the unfortunate part. If you get invaded, and your laners DO NOT come help pre transform. You lose. Your early game against a early pressure jungler is entirely determined by your allies. And it sucks ass.

My advice would be don't fall into the trap of thinking you can only play one form and that's all you need to know. Kayn requires you to pretty much master 3 champions. Also if you are playing Rhaast, try to bait the enemy team into tight spaces so you can make best use of your healing. With either form utilize never forget that going into a wall heals you. Can't even begin to tell you how many times I've gotten away from a fight or turned a fight around just from the little heal the wall gives.
