Why isn't Athene's new passive on Mikaels instead of Athene's?
Mikael's is already the support version of Athene's and its current passive would work amazingly with Athene's new passive. Why make both items support?

Because they wanted to take Athene's out of mid and it was better to give it some use as a support item than just flat out delete it. Mikael's would be insanely overloaded if it had the Athene's passive and its current active/Chalice passive anyway.
Because Riot hates wave clear and utility mages.
I made a similar thread, I agree with this idea because mikael is a terrible item as a whole with the only reason to get it is the active. They said the same thing with hourglass so what's the deal with Mikael if it's in the same situation.
