Some possible Band-Aids for Mordekaiser. Hes got some deep deep problems that arise with his ult being somewhat not all that fitting into a game. So what can we do but put a big bandage on that broken leg and hope something happens in the 2 years until he's fully reworked and overhauled, hopefully he's after Yorrick.

Mordekaiser Mordekaiser is in a bad spot right now. He underperforms many other top laners in the form of his ability to tank. He could possibly out damage other top laners but he neither has the stickiness nor the mobility to create damage. As a player unless it's the first 5 minutes of the game or unless you're fed af don't expect to kill someone unless they thoroughly underestimate you. Now don't misunderstand guys I'm fine with an immobile unsticky death knight ... if he had the stats to counter it. You can steam roll a Darius darius top for the first 10 minutes, but when he builds phage expect him to dance around you, heal more than you, and out damage you; when anyone builds a spectre's cowl against you pack up your bags and sail home. Arguments might be: Well Mord has a kickass shield---Mord has the ability to speed up jg ganks---or my personal favorite Mord can create a teammate! These arguments become quickly defunct when you realize Mord simply doesn't have the damage output or tankiness to offset those pros listed above. After thinking about it long and hard I have tried to come up with three possible ways to make Mordekaiser go from zero to hero.

Mordekaiser Mordekaiser Mordekaiser Mordekaiser Mordekaiser Mordekaiser Mordekaiser Mordekaiser

{{{Give him the ability to jump after activating his w. }}}

Pros: Increased mobility,More support functions,Always has an escape route Cons: Not very suited for his immobile playstyle, Would be very similar to Braum Braum, Would be ridiculous with the current low cd on his w

Mordekaiser Mordekaiser Mordekaiser Mordekaiser Mordekaiser Mordekaiser Mordekaiser Mordekaiser

[[[Give him a big hefty slow. (Multiple ways to do this: create a secondary passive that increases slow on damage done to enemies and scales, make one of his abilities slow)]]]

Pros: Fits with the current meta playstyle as everyone builds Rylai's without fail anyway, Would increase kill potential, Has supportive options Cons: Scaling with Rylai's could create a cancerous tumor that never disappears, Making your pet dragon stop all enemy movement is a horrifying thought

Mordekaiser Mordekaiser Mordekaiser Mordekaiser Mordekaiser Mordekaiser Mordekaiser Mordekaiser

{{{Buff up his Health (Note I chose health as he already has a weirdly high base ad, he scales his passive with health, and I feel boosting armor wouldn't have the same effect)}}}

Pros: Immediate bigger passive shield, More potential as a juggernaut that doesn't die in two hits,Support thing????? Cons:Would make him much more of tank than the past metas had seen, Could be looked at as too similar to other tank ap tops (Maokai )

If Mord gets any cc built into his kit, his damage will be nerfed to the grounf.

And a jump sounds cool, but is not needed, thank goodness you didn't suggest a jump on 3Q, it will hinder possibilities.

Mobility wise, just use ghost AND flash. That way, when you have poked your opponent down enough, and trick them by passively farming, when they get too close, flip ghost and wail on them. It's halarious, because Noone expects a mobile Mord.

A buff to his early base health would be wonderful, although in my opinion, a small movement speed boost to his base movement will be much better, considering that boot enchantments have been removed, and that Boots of Swiftness was nerfed.

After the boots nerf, I personally feel like I MUST build Ludens, Rylias, AND duskblade just to have a nice movespeed. Also, the effects and power of duskblade and ludens is awesome.

That being said, a base movespeed boost would be much better than any of those three that you have listed, in my opinion, but of the 3, a small buff in early health would be another great way to help Mord out.

ON ANOTHER NOTE, I DO like to use flat health yellows and quints, and start ruby crystal when feeling as I want to troll my enemy laner.

You just play passive, hyper focus farm, and poke with e when they get close. Max e first (ONLY TO PLAY AROUND, DON'T DO IT WHEN YOU PLAY SERIOUSLY, IT'S ONLY FUNNY EARLY)

Because well you poke the shit outta them, have high health and a super powerful shield. Funny jazz man. Especially if I poke them, flip ghost and take them out, LOL, while having soooooo much shield you hardly take damage. Watch out for fans tho and up w second.

Although I alternate between and w or Q in serious games, depending on the matchup.

I have no clue why Riot thinks this character should be a support.

He wasn't supposed to be a support, he was supposed to be a bot lane carry alternative. Honestly, what part of his kit screams "support" to you? Every other damage oriented support has some form of cc in their kits, he does not. Not to mention if you are behind you cannot do anything, which is not a problem supports can have.

Mordekaiser when built properly is possibly the tankiest champion in the game. I've survived fights that would have killed Dr. Mundo as top lane tank Mordekaiser, while also putting out good damage.
