League has a strategy issue, in my opinion.

I think that League has an issue with strategy, mostly the diversity of strategies that can win you the game in solo queue. I mostly noticed this after playing TFT. In TFT, the champions have some obvious synergies that stack together when you have a certain number of them on the field. League has certain synergies like that as well, such as braum/lucian and irelia/sejuani, but they the game isn't really catered towards creating team synergies in solo queue as much as it is catered to "pick a champ you like and play it your way to the best of your ability". that might just be a low elo issue since they dont care too much about champ synergies.

However, I think that adding small utility bonuses for teams would be benefical if you have several of the same class/faction/style champions on the same team. I think this will add a set strategy for teams to play around and ultimately make the game more interesting than just: do well in lane, group for baron and dragon, and hope to God that your bot lane doesn't feed their butts off before you can get out of lane.

Its just a simple idea that I thought was worth talking about.

In order for strategy and comps to matter in solo queue, the game needs a better set of counters and checks. They're starting to test the waters with Kled, Blitz and Le Blanc, and they have been adding more strategy-based mechanics in recent years, slowly. The lack of a midseason unfortunately means more significant item and strategy changes are going to be extremely slow as theyre mostly behind annual changes. And since theyre doing Another yearly Jungle Fuck up this preseason 10 .... I don't expect much else to change like the Rift Herald and Tower plate levels of strategy
