Rammus going full tank and dealing an extraordinary amount of damage

I would like your guys' opinion on this game. I was draven, 15/6 and a victory, and very confused at the moment. I am simply wondering why when rammus on the other team can build 100% full tank and still deal some of the highest dmg in the game (26K, 3k less than cassiopeia who built full dmg, had 5 more kills and 70 more farm). What is going on here? Please tell me what I am missing. You can click the link above and see for yourself- rather shocking.

One more thing, this really isn't a post where I'm complaining about and "OP" champ, I am honestly and genuinely confused by what just happened, and where that damage was coming from. (Yes he had thornmail, but that alone doesn't justify 26k dmg from a tank who build full tank).

He did a lot of damage because he was likely in the middle of the fight dealing sustained damage over long periods of time. Meanwhile your Cass was probably getting killed really fast or being forced to flee which limited her damage output. Also Thornmail can put out a lot of damage against an auto-attack heavy team.

First of all, Rammus' passive allows him to gain bonus AD based on his Armor (25% of his armor) and with his items + runes + masteries, he should had have around 400 Armor at least, which gives him an additional 100 AD on top of his 119 base AD at lvl 18. So at the end of the game he had around 220 AD, which is quite a lot.

Secondly, there are 3 champs in your team that deals physical damage. With just thorn mail, which returns in magic damage 25% of the user's bonus armor and 15% of the incoming damage, Rammus should already be doing tons of damage, and when it is paired up with his W, which allows him to deal 10% of his armor to whoever attacks him, it is just brutal.

I believe that should be where the majority of the damage comes from.

His ult's base damage is also pretty enormous.

Because thats his thing. If you basic attack him, he will deal large amounts of damage to you. He can only guarantee a certain amount of damage. Past that, if he builds full tank, there is only a certain amount of damage he deals.

His W scales off of armor and with Thornmail has a lot of damage with it. Hos R deals good damage if you let him in the middle of your team as well.
