On URF, it says Ranged Champs get 100% more attack speed, while Melee get 50%. So in URF if you used Kayle, which scaling would they use? Like would her attack speed be doubled when activating E, and then minus'd by half when it's off? I'm just kinda curious tbh.
Kayle is considered a ranged champion when there's a distinction made between the two.
So if an item is melee only, she can't buy it, etc.
I dont think so. Melee vs ranged is defined by the character itself. When it gains +range attack they do not become a ranged character, theyre more getting a buff. So, kayle still remains melee and I doubt she gains 50% attack speed (or all character that gain range would get more as like kog aatrox)

so YES, kayle gets 100% bonus attack speed while she has E which is a perma buff on URF and goes down to 50% while E is off.
this has been since urf existed , yes should be 100% when ranged but no ,spaghetti code.
