Why do all jungle Yi's run smite/teleport
and then get pwned by

Yi is good at backdooring objectives, that is why jungle Yi brings teleport. If a Yi plays smart he should not be getting caught by Jarvan to begin with, but not having flash does make it difficult. That said Jarvan will only be able to keep up with a smart Yi if he builds damage, otherwise Yi will hit a point where Jarvan does not matter to him.
