Are there any plans to look at Righteous Glory?

This item has been in a pretty bad state since its release pretty much, basically following the same pattern as any champion that gets reworked. It was ubiquitous upon release from the crazy stats and cost efficiency for such a powerful active on low cooldown, then they basically gutted it with several consecutive nerfs and I almost NEVER see anyone purchase this item anymore. I think the new catalyst passive made things even worse as the champions who tend to want to buy the item don't really want that passive more than the old one.

Does Riot have any plans to look at this item at all? The only thing I can think is if maybe instead of a health/mana item, it had resists instead along with the active, maybe we'd start seeing it on some top/jungle champs.

Olaf is literally the only one I've seen actually buy it.

Replace Catalyst with Kindlegem + Cloth Armor. Make it a more tanky suport item with CDR

And the thing with Olaf though is he stopped buying it ever since they gave him the speed burst on ult, so you just take ghost and ult at someone and that's enough, RG is overkill at that point.

It was still purchased on him numerous times at Worlds. It's still a decent (but not optimal) pickup when the other team has above-average mobility.

Wait, really? I admittedly didn't watch every single game but I don't recall ever seeing it...

It wasn't every game I don't beleive, but yeah. One of the ways it was used was to actually activate it early, ult in, and have it's slow (75% slow for 2 seconds) pop in the enemy's face, guaranteeing you can easily start chaining your Undertows. The item fills the niche of Karma/Sivir if you don't have them on your team to give you the speedboost you need to get in the enemy's face.

Would you happen to remember any one game in particular where someone built it? I really cannot remember seeing it. I get that it's good for that but man that is one champ and one specific scenario. They definitely don't want it to be like it was on release when you'd have at least 2 per team and it was ridiculous because it was cheap and gave a TON of health. But I'd love it to be in a useful spot where I don't feel bad getting it on Rammus/Volibear/Poppy/Maokai.

http://www.lolesports.com/en_US/worlds/world_championship_2016/matches/group_c/H2K-vs-EDG-tb Day 6 of Group Stage, H2K built it in a win over EDG.

http://www.lolesports.com/en_US/worlds/world_championship_2016/matches/elimination/R2M2 Semifinals, H2K built in it a loss in Game 1 against SSG

I had thought it was bought more often, but I was mistaken. Twice though still, so it counts!

The passive is totally out of place. Remove the passive and give some more worthwhile stats and I think it would be appreciated more.

Something like HP regen or maybe 100 or so more HP.

they probably don't want olaf to speed up his team as well because hes so strong already. but seriouls.y get the coin item late game if you want something like the old RG.

That's true but maybe they need to be looking at Olaf then instead of having an item be terrible just because 1 single champ can abuse it. If they don't like the idea just remove the item or something but if it's going to be there it deserves to have a use. It's not about wanting something like it, it's about the item itself needs to be good or even situational. I would venture a guess that it's probably the second least bought item in the entire game behind Ohmwrecker.

I think it's pretty easy to fix. Back on release, it was a team wide speedbuff, so it got balanced around beeing a utillity item with low stats and lowish cost. But now it's a selfidh active, so it's time to increase the costs and adjust the stats. I think adding a ruby-crystal and increasing the health to ~800 should do the trick, makeing it a worthy competition to warmongs as a health item and a good catalyst option for tanks.

Bur right now, it's a snowball option for some bruiser löike olaf and hecarim, but not much more due to the poor combat stats.

It probably should be looked at. I expect will be experimented with a bit in a world without locket rush.
