For once i'm glad i'm bronze

In this current preseason, absolutely everyone complains about how games are decided at 5 minutes, ADC OP, games should last longer than 20 minutes, Etc. And yea, i agree with them sometimes.

But i'm a bronze II player. People down here are not the best. People throw, a lot. Around half my games this pre-season have lasted over 35 minutes. And most of the time, it really is fun. It's refreshing to have games where both teams fight to the death and there's only one person left at 100 HP, instead of one team face-rolling their keyboard and winning. And yea, it's fantastic when your team coordinates enough and overthrows the enemy who beat you to a pulp. And it happens because this is low elo, where everyone makes huge mistakes, and people throw the hardest leads in the world.

Not to say that some matches ARE decided at 5 minutes, when the bot lane gives 15 kills in 3 minutes, or when JG AFK's, or when your mastery 7 Yasuo with icon with skin + border with yasuo emote feeds that Zed about 20 kills. But, i'm happy i'm bronze right now because this does not always happen, and sometimes the enemy does it do us, and we win. This game is all about having fun, and i'd say it's doing its job.

I only play normal draft but I'm basically experiencing this too. I'm allegedly Silver V so basically same. I'm having fun, nobody surrenders, and I've had a lot of "come back from behind" games and lost games where we were ahead. Nobody seems to be giving up these days. Plus the runes make it feel like a ton of possibilities are available.

I'm kinda glad people can still experience games that actually go past the 35 min mark. It's a refreshing feeling.

Lol yeah I knew how you feel. When I was bronze/silver and people were complaining about games being like 20 min long I would just look at my match history and see 30-40 min games... But now that I'm diamond I can definitely see where people are coming from.

I'm in low plat, most of the people I play with and against are in high Gold to low Diamond, and most of my matches actually last 25-30 minutes.

But the last 15-20 minutes are just whoever got ahead at 10 minutes stomping the other team into the dust. Comebacks have been really rare.

I have had only one game that lasted 40 minutes, with quite a few games that ended at 15-20.
