Sorry if this is a noob question...
But why is it that in the lower elo in pub matches, the adc/supp go bottom while there's one top, but in the pro level it's reversed?

You don't want to give up Dragon for free and you need to keep lanes matched up.
In standard play, you don't want to deal with 1v2 lanes and you don't have the coordination to properly trade objectives for Dragon.
Competitive teams make the conscious choice to sacrifice top lane farm and/or Dragon control for the sake of a safer lane for their ADC.
Well Adc's on the 'dictated' Red Side (Top half of the map), have quite a disadvantage when it comes to bottom lane, due to how their vision is limited by huds. So being top lane allows them not to be hindered by such.
the evolution of the bot top lane swap. it became famous in season 4, although it did happen in season 3, which was when invades were famous, now this season, the double jungle starts and the support invades are famous. why you ask? the lane swap is done by highly coordinated teams who have planned out their early game ahead of time, with the intention of getting an advantage over the other team. say it's maokai top vs sion top, well typically, sion is a better 1v2 champion, he's tankier, has a shield, an escape ult, and a way of killing backline minions. maokai has a way of killing backline minions, but is more item reliant, no shield, his heal requires a short range auto attack, and has no escape except for flash. in this instance, sion's team would want to lane swap. but wait, both top laners aren't going to be able to get that first wave of minions because they would have to extend too far in a 2v1 scenario. so they assist the jungle with their pathing, who gets through it twice as fast while taking half the damage, and can share some exp with the top laner, after one or three camps the top laner can go to their 1v2 lane, as it should be pushed in a little, and they're within flash range of their tower. i was watching the boxing match and kinda just rambling on but higher elo teams have a lot of pre planning and a good handle on the timing of everything.
They are pros. They do what they like with premade teams vs solo queue chumps. I feel like you posted this looking for venom. I will not feed you.
This is off topic, but I recommend posting questions like this in the Tips and Tricks board, where there are many players looking for advice or looking to give it. You won't always have your questions answered in a useful way, but there are some really excellent threads from time to time, and it will probably be worth your while to simply read some of the most popular or successful threads and search for old discussions on the topic of your curiosity before posting.
Well if I pick Vayne and the enemy team picks Graves/Cait I sure as hell am not going into that lane. I then go up to top lane and farm safely so I don't get crushed by Cait/Leona and feed and lose. If you can pull it off in solo q it actually can work quite well. Especially if they have a Nasus top. Watching your AD deny him farm all lane is hilarious.
Because it doesn't matter . in lcs it's like baaketball. As in 1 2 11 like top 2 mid 1 jungker 1 bot.
oh ok. so then why doesn't just everyone do that? even lower level random matches?
