Suggestions to Nerf Yasuo (and Triforce)

As commented in another thread i had a conversation with someone regarding current Yasuo and his tanking. I noticed that Riot agrees with a lot of people that Yasuo does way too much damage with Triforce in a respective yasuo tanky build (ex: item 3078 item 3022 item 3068 item 3065 item 3053 item 3009 ) Now, the previous comment i added i went over the majority of what im going to be talking about. But For most of you who have not read it yet, here is my post:

thats why i said increase the base AD and decrease the RATIO. So even though you build FM and TF, you dont get 100% of that. Also maybe up the percentage of crit damage on Yasuo's Q. His Q only crits for only 75% of the damage dealt.

So if you up it maybe 15% and reduce the Ratio. Say a Yasuo has 110 AD (Base AD at 18) (does not include IE). If he crits with his Q (1% crit rune) he will be doing a respective 157.5 damage. That is with his current ratios and what not.

Now if he has increased Base damage (lets say 120 BASE DMG) with 80% AD ratio and 90% crit damage here is the math: 120+ (110*.90)= 219 (.90)= 197.1. Even a simple 20 damage increase on base with reduced damage ratio but increased crit ratio, he will be doing around 40 extra base damage. Now with Triforce and FM (which give no crit chance) you will be looking at base +65 AD then times that by the AD ratio (90%) which is 58.5. Youre getting less damage and no crit.

I believe this could be fairly balanced. Rewarding the people with crit, give them more damage to work with but give them less of the AD ratio.

Now, lets say a Full Built (MID) Yasuo with just items:item 3087 item 3031 item 3072 item 3139 item 3026 item 3006 you will be given 100% crit and +320 AD (430 AD total). Now Currently a Q with that build will do 517.5 (with Static Shiv proc) (No Crit) (yes i know he has 100% crit chance but this gives perspective) . With my tweaks he will be doing 576.3 (with Static Shiv proc) (No crit). As you can see, this is very balanced out with an additional 59 extra damage to give full AD yasuo's.

If we look at a Tank Yasuo buid with these items:item 3078 item 3022 item 3068 item 3065 item 3053 item 3009 you will be given +92 AD (202 AD total) (no crit without crit runes). If you Q with this build normally you will do 522 damage (with Sheen Proc). That is close to a normal Yasuo's damage without critically striking. Now if you use my tweaks he will do 521 damage.

After looking at the stats. I think it should be best to leave his base AD for his Q where it is, but decrease the AD ratio to about 80-85% as well as increase the Critical Strike Ratio to 90% (still for his Q). I believe this will balance things out a bit more, but the Triforce Sheen proc brings up the damage tremendously (200% of your AD). So my opinion would to also reduce the AD ratio of Spellblade to around 150-170%.

Overall, his builds really do not have to change and his damage remains roughly the same. But he will crit harder but dealing less damage overall. Honestly this doesnt change much, because of armour it reduces the AD which makes his crits do even less. So it wont be that big of a difference with his crits

Long story short, I believe, if we are to "nerf" tank yasuo, we need to target his main damage (Steel Tempest). Now like in the comment above, i suggested that we keep the same BASE AD for his Q at 100 Damage. But i feel that we should decrease his AD RATIO to around 80-85% to make sure he doesnt do too much damage with the bonus AD from item 3078 item 3053 and item 3022 (+92 AD). Now another main issue i realized is that after the Triforce remake, it has made Triforce champions even stronger than with the crit. But what concerns me the most is the additional 200% AD from Spellblade. Now it doesnt seem like a whole lot, but when put into perspective of a Yasuo player, he will be doing around 520 damage with Spellblade proc. To me, that is a lot of damage coming from what should be a tanky build. The Spellblade makes up for almost 100% of the missing AD without the crit. So i was thinking about reducing Spellblade's AD ratio to around 150-170% keeping his Q lowered. Plus with the lowered AD ratio and the increased crit ratio. Thus, it rewards players to go mostly or full AD yasuo. And keep players away from going tank, but doesnt completely demolish the idea. It will make him more of a tank than a very high damage fighter with high defensive stats. I believe tank Yasuo is just a bit too strong right now and even i main Yasuo. I added a pole if you guys agree or disagree with my statements and suggestions.

Its not just Yasuo. Multiple champions can go full dmg or full tank while being considered "broken" in both stages. Take fizz for example. He's been played in the LCS as a full dmg mid and in top lane as a bruiser. Now fizz has a w that is always on that has bonus magic damage and when you activate it there is even more dmg on top of that. his q is a dash that does full attack dmg plus some magic and it can apply on hit effects. Say you build trinity force tank items and maybe one ap item whether it be item 3027 or item 3116 for the added slow ability power and health stats. Now with the 40% attack speed fizz will be getting more and more damage off with his W which has the on hit magic damage and if you activate the w that will apply with the q and trinity force. The W+Q+item 3078 is going to be a lot of damage. Just like Yasuo It honestly is just dependent on that champions build Fizz can do over 2000 damage without you even damaging him.

Also most champions can abuse items it is really dependent on what the right build is. For yasuo who is reliant on his crits and attack speed what you could do is nerf him so his crits dont deal as much damage. Im personally not a fan of that though because multiple champions could use nerfs. But dont receive them. the game I think is at a state where some champs are thouht of as OP but people dont know how to counter them. Tanks Yasuo I think is relatively knew so people arent to sure what to do against it. I think that Renekton against almost any melee top lane results in a very scary Renekton.
