I am really sorry but i dont like bard at all.

Hi Members of the community/rito if your reading this i would like to ask for a favor.

I very much want to have a refund for Bard, your latest support champ to roll of the line, is very underwhelming to play. Its rather difficult to have to travel between lanes to acquire meeps in order to become relevant in the late game and still have time to babysit an ADC. against a normal support/adc lane this champion is just nonviable in almost every way. Bard also feels very squishy and his Q's range make me not want to get close to hostiles for few of being exploded like an rotten melon with C4 strapped to its chest.

I must give the style point however for the utility of this champion is amazing, the thought behind his design is really different than the normal support. This is the main issue with bard in my eyes, Bard doesn't feel like a support he feels more like a throwback to the good old roaming days. His long range ult makes ganks rather.... easy, it lets the friendly laner give time to move in and it lets bard get in position for an easy stun with his Q. The Ultimate is also hilarious to panic champs with i have already made some good flash trades with it with no real follow up behind it.

I will admit i have only played one game with bard so far and im no expert by any means on the support role, but i can't get behind Bard as a support, he has too much Utility to be useful damage wise and his statistics are far from a meaty support like leona.

Perhaps you could shift Bard from a support role to a more roaming role? and instead of magical journey only working on walls how about it just becomes a portal that functions as it does now just castable on a set distance rather than on say a wall.

I am not too sure if his (?) Chimes give him a substantial amount of Exp to keep on roaming without lane-leeching to level perhaps it would be ok to up the amount of experience they provide? perhaps forcing the chimes only to spawn in the jungle/ river areas could be an option as well.

But in the end as always New champs either suck or are too good on release and they need tweaking to fix this, as per usual this happens with any champ.
