End of Season Trolls

why people intentionally start tanking people's games just because its the end of the season and people don't have to worry about getting demoted out of tier is beyond me. The games have less to do with skill and more to do with which team's troll will give the game away harder. Even games I win will be because the other team has a toxic player that intentionally throws the game. I've noticed that the player base in this game has gotten exponentially worse as the game has gotten more popular - and now that the tribunal is gone, the chances of these griefers ever suffering negative consequences is slim to none.

I`m more really annoyed with end of season smurfs elo boosting other accounts, I have seen a marginal spike in smurfs in my matches. And rarely do I get them..

the 'smurfs' i've gotten in my games are more interested in tanking the match on the principle that "trash silver elo deserves it." but yes, elo boosting smurfs throw ranked games out of orbit and ruin people's promotion games. the system is based more on:

playing a large volume of games hoping that in the majority of your games you get paired with non-anti-social teammates

thats it.

Tribunal is gone?

Well, the tribunal was "in recess" and "building cases" 3-4 months ago when I stopped playing in July, and I see it still is "building cases". I find it hard to believe no toxic players have been discovered in the last 3 months. I can only assume it is indeed gone.
