Tier Immunity needs to be eliminated - please introduce a "Survivor Series"

At Silver I, over the past few months I've increasingly noticed that the amount of trolling and overall toxicity and negative attitudes have increased in every match. More and more, there are players that are not interested in being good teammates, or even contributing to a win. They are there to troll and to generally suck the fun out of the game for the other 4 people on their team. 9 times out of 10, these players are Gold V. I read and hear other players' stories of how they have suffered through the same situations in Bronze 1, Gold 1, Plat 1, etc.

Gate keeping mechanics that are based on skill are important to the game and contribute to elevating the level of play.

Gate keeping mechanics that are the result of which team is lucky enough to not have the Gold V troll (or trolls) on their team detracts, severely, from ranked play.

Mechanics that provide nearly no negative incentive to purposefully tanking a game (such as tier immunity), are the primary driver of the second of the two mechanics i've listed above.

True, if a player tanks their rating to some impossibly low level, they will be demoted. However, this level is laughable and easily overcome by winning a few games here or there (sometimes, despite that player's efforts to troll). This system fails at reducing the amount of griefers in the game.

I propose: When a Silver, Gold, Plat, Diamond, or Challenger V level player reaches 0 points, their next loss places them in a "Survivor Series" best 3 of 5 matches. You win, you get to keep your tier standing. You lose, and you are demoted. Simple as that.

Provide more incentive for players to not purposefully throw games, and you will see more people want to play.

or they just get to gold V and stop playing ranked cause hey they are immune to deteriation of lp so they can just take a spot in gold and wait for season rewards

Riot has already stated that they don't want to make demotion series because it gives large amounts of stress for very little pay-off. This is different than promo series, which are also stressful, but you feel accomplished when you successfully complete them. On top of this, if you start to lose a demotion series, you'd be more inclined to lash out and go on tilt, which would inevitably lead to a failed demotion series. Plus, the people who try to make you fail promos will try extra hard to make you lose demotion series. After all, what's better than making a person stay where they are? Forcing them to drop and work to get back in.

The problem is that many people would have a lot of ladder anxiety if you are able to fall from tiers, think about how hard you are working to get into gold, if you could fall out of it the same way you fall from silver 1 to silver 2 how would you feel?
