Current state of Azir and opinion on possible changes [debate]

Hi everyone, It's been a while since our little bird friend (or enemy for the haters è_é ) has been the lowest win rate of the summoner's Rift. It comes from the fact that Azir had too much power in too many places, my question to you guys is what would you like Azir to become with the upcoming changes (said to be a rework) And for any balance team member passing by any idea on what we can expect, direction you took?, when are you going to push the first changes to PBE ? etc

I'll of course start with my opinion and we can debate a bit more :D ! (btw i'm not a high ranked player at all but i mained azir for a while and he is one of my three most played champs) So first of all i read a comment of a rioter on reddit a while ago (was his opinion in no way the one of the balance team but was relevant enough for me to mention it) and he said that Azir was basically overloaded with qualities and not enough defaults, to be honest i gotta admit it's a highrange hypercarry poking champion with constant DPS and incredible mobility, plus two disruption/controlling tools: his tower and his ultimate. He then said that there would likely, in his opinion, be two direction the balance team can take either promote: the long range hypercarry champion but remove a bit of his play potential (removing the ability to use Q while gliding with E so basically removing a lot of possibilities do to the shurima shuffle (still doable by placing a soldier kiting back then E R I guess but still no more WEQR possible. OR the outplay potential but severely reduce his range and make him a bit more tanky midrange controling mage.

And to be honest i do not know which one would be the most enjoyable, not being able to do the shurima shuffle will be very sad for all azir mains ( :'( ) but I wouldn't like to lose the ability to carry hyper hard alte game to keep it, i wouldn't like Azir to become an early/mid game champion and be useless lategame

I feel like it depends on the range nerf they give him and by how much they buff his damage in comparison but i would go with the mid range mage hyper carry if i had to choose.

Maybe they could implement a passive/an item that would let players choose which playstyle they want to do each game ? kind of like Viktor that upgrades his abilities you would either upgrade your Q to be that long range mage or upgrade ultimate to be able to do the shurima shuffle but won't be getting extra range on Q,

I mean it's not the first time a champion could change mechanics depending on the playstyle he wants to have, Khazix already does, and for people concerned about the lore, i remember Azir is a reborn Emperor, so he could have an animation and message saying he has reincarnated into Type A, or Type B and people would be warned, so that the gameplan is clear on what they can expect from Azir during the game

I know my ideas might be a bit irrealistic or hard to implement, but those are just idea that popped out of my head,

what are your thoughts and opinions ??
