We have a big, big problem this preseason (Extension of S5 Tank Brutality)
Let me start by first addressing the grievous wounds changes. Lowering it's effective healing debuff percentage from 50% - 40% is actually tolerable and incidentally, due to the introduction of the new item named Mortal Reminder, is necessary to perform. However, the game developers have made a big mistake in altering the mechanics of how grievous wounds works by making it only affect the individual champion being targeted heals, rather then the previous mechanics of reducing all healing sources. This initially means that a bottom lane adc's ignite can be easily disregarded and "shrugged off" throughout all laning phase if their opposing laner are partnered up with a healing support such as Sona, Soraka, Alistar (all of these champs are typically chosen in gameplay for a support role) and etc. Imagine engaging in a duel as a bottom lane ADC with a level 6 or above Vayne (no offense, but another champion who was buffed unnecessarily when in actuality, 2/3rd of the league player base was calling for her nerf) that has a summoner spell of heal or a Soraka support... Nevertheless, during a late game team fights (which every player must eventually participate in) when the opposing team is equipped with loads of damage and either magic or armor penetration and lifesteal/spell vamp and/or spirit visage, the usefulness of obtaining any grievous wound stats will be too ineffective. Undoubtedly, perhaps the initial purpose behind healing debuff nerf was to allow more diversity in choices between summoner spells, rather than ignite (which we already had during S5, with teleport being the most chosen among top laners and exhaust/heal being constantly selected amongst support), however, this is unlikely the motive.
I'll type more of my observation and experience with this preseason on another paragraph seperate to this one since! Typing too much words in one paragraph will cause...
