Yasuo's Ult

Just played a game as , and ulted me twice while I WAS NOT mid-air. I want to know if this is a bug because:

The first time he did it, he casted his twister thing and I dodged with my E. I took another step and he Ulted anyway. The 2nd time was the ulted me, and just as she reached me I E'd to avoid it. continued her ult animation but I just ran away, and ulted me while I was running. Both of these times I don't recall taking damage from abilities.

Obviously the abilities I dodged are knock-ups and can ult. Is it possible that there was an incredibly small moment where the ability did in fact hit me and my E just avoided the knock-up portion of it? In that case, is it still grounds for a ult?

Thanks for feedback, things like this make me nerdrage :/ I love this game and I hate feeling like my opponents are cheating or something.

It means that the way the things work in game seem to have the rigidity of cooked spaghetti.

Ez's E goes through whether or not you are cc'ed after you press e(it has a long cast time for a blink). So if Vi reached you within the .5 seconds you were blinking, then you were still hit. Likewise, if the tornado hits you while blinking, you still count as airborne since it hit you.

It's weird, but it is a lot easier to see if you use it to last second dodge a stun or a snare, as those have visuals other than upwards movement.

See, if that's the case I shouldn't keep running afterwards. If I'm supposed to be tossed up, at least make it so I can't move so I know it hit me. It's very frustrating to have that split second of "yes I dodged it" only to have Yasuo put the smackdown on you and shatter your safety zone and now you're like*[slayer-jinx-unamused]*

Yeah, its weird. I mostly play support, with Jhin as an adc if I am thrown into that role(I support/fill) and only play Ez when a counter to Jhin is picked. So I don't have much experience with the bugginess of his e.
