The "new" strong support (Zilien)
I am a support main and i play many different support champion from brand and trundle to the iconic soraka and morgana.
i just wanted to tell people that with the current meta and play style, Zilean 
is currently a strong support.
I played a good ammount of game with it now and i can say that regardless of champion.gg stats or lolking, Zilean is pretty "op"
His Bomb has a good base dmg for a support role, and more importantly the team stun it give is pretty great regardless of having a 1.5 second length.
you can chain slows. at 99% speed up on friendly or slows on enemy its practically a stun for 2.5 seccond. since you can rewind and recast its a 99% speed for a total of 5 seccond. You have a LOT of time to do your damage in 5 seccond, not to mention that you can chain your bomb stun to add a extra 1 to 1.5 seccond to the duration.
I managed to kite a full build nasus. i know he can be kited but thats being included in his slow. people who slows you look ridiculous once you use time warp on yourself and actualy still run faster then your normal running speed.
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY : Since the #1 counter to Juggernaut are CC, zilean is pack with CC, his ult stop garen "justice", darius dunk, mordekaiser sweet tooth, and fiora flower power. the slow/ speed up is the best for any engage or disengage. its peel potential is great and you escape from bad situation more often then not. Sated devourer champion are a real problem. they hit you and stick to you. however with Zilien Slows and how 1.5 aoe bomb stun its almost perfect counter to them. your adc will have time to trash those glass cannon before they get to reach them, and if they DO reach them. double bomb the jungler or even more simple you double bomb your adc and she gets a good stun and peel from it. she is about to die? You ult your adc and she gets to finish the sated devourer champion So far the only big issue i had with my zilean was a master yi end game and at that, it was more about bad timing of my bombs and ult then anything else.
TLDR : Zilean is a good support right now and if you place a bit of practice into learning his skill, he might be a better support that people tend to believe.
