Kindness goes a long way.
So here I am, sitting through a Veigar match against a LeBlanc. I haven't played Veigar in a while, ended up feeding 5 kills quickly into the match since LeBlanc is tower diving me at 3 kills with no issues. So of course with how I am I end up typing out that I'm just playing like shit, you know being all negative. I was expecting backlash from the first death, but this surprised me.
Vi and Panth told me it was no biggie. They began to come down and help me take control of the lane. They gave me kills. Set up good peel for me and Kalista, and just overall stayed positive with me.
My plays were improving. I was landing stuns after missing a lot. W's were hitting, Q's were farmin', ults were exploding, I ended up at the end with a 10/10 for my score, huge boost form my 0/5. We pushed far in and were able to land a victory only because my teamates were doing what they could to help me get back in and were encouraging me to keep trying.
A little kindness goes a long way in the matches. I was sure it was a loss and it would be on me, but we won. I don't care that I got a B or had a kill for every death. Panth and Vi made me feel so much more confident and made me feel like I brought a lot to the fights.
