Is there any jungler plat+ here for a tip or an advice?

When i play with my friends there's one that it's an otp soraka, how u can imagine ganking a lane with a support that can't set up, doesn't have cc or damage it's not the best. Chances of taking a kill are really low, and that minute wasted bot i prefere to use it mid or top where there's actually kill potential. The guy always flames me, how do i explain to him and other friends why as a jungler ganking a bot with a soraka supp is not efficient? I'm not wrong, right? Wouldn't u do the same?

Show him the Trick2G video where he says: "Leona you are full HP, gets the fuck in there, press R, stun the mother*ucker".

Maybe he stops playing Soraka after that 😂

Already tried. He preferes to do nothing and get carried every game play passive supports. :)

Not plat+ but just explain that unless the enemy is out of position, your friend plays someone with good engages, or you have good engage there isn't much you can do. It is a good lane to gank depending on many factors, is the enemy shoved, does your jungle have hard CC, whose team has better vision, etc. I just gank whatever lane is being shoved in the hardest, gives you the most time to burn flashes and get a potential kill.

Yea bud I don't know what you're expecting to hear from a plat + player. This is not a problem solved by rank. Your friend doesn't listen and is inflexible to change, tell them that that's on them. Because it is.

i said plat+ just because maybe a jungler more expert than me could have told me if i was wrong. Just that.

Plat JG here-

There is only one question you should ask yourself before you gank- If you gank, are you positive you'll get a gank or blow a summoners?

If the answer is "no", then don't gank. Soraka is played either passively as a healbot, erasing damage while ADC farms with a stalled lane, or she is going to be aggressive and push them back into their turret.

If your Soraka had any brains, and if your ADC had any brains, they'd stall the lane in front of their turret for the whole early game and let you come in to gank. Then if that happens, if your Soraka had any brains, she'd land a clutch silence-root to lock them down while you and the ADC do their dirty business.

Once again, before ganking, ask yourself: "If I gank, am I positive to get a kill or blow a summoners?"

If no, then farm/go somewhere else.

The only time you should intervene in another lane when you answer a "no" is if they got a 4 man gank and you need to make your presence known so they don't get a turret. You're not there to serve them. You got 3 lanes and a JG you keep your eye on, you don't bend the knee whenever it's convenient.

Not plat+ but I can offer a few options for a solution

  1. Adapt your own pick to synergize, Soraka does have decent follow up CC with her E, so if you have a CC heavy jungler then it might be enough for your ADC to burn down the enemy, something Like Amumu could work pretty well especially since he deals quite a bit of damage himself in addition to having enough CC to handle the setup.
  2. Gank for pressure rather than kills, you don't necessarily need to get a kill or even a summoner spell for a gank to be worthwhile, getting the enemy to back off a bit and granting your laners some space could be enough, depending on the lane. As long as they don't still flame for this it shouldn't really be time wasted. Sometimes all you need to do is poke your head out and spook people.
  3. Tell your friend that rather than ganking directly you will try to snowball mid and set up a 4 man gank or maybe even a dive, since it has a higher chance of success.
  4. See if your ADC is willing to pick something like Ashe/Varus to give you some engage once they hit 6 or a mage with hard CC to make ganking easier.
  5. Play a lane instead when you play with this person, then it's someone elses problem.
  6. Try to get them interested in other supports, I used to play mostly Soraka when I first started playing but ended up enjoying most of the other supports that I tried, maybe they just need a little encouragement.
  7. Consider just muting them or even not playing with them, if all they do is flame you then is it really worth it?
