Per win lp gain

Recently I had lost a few games at zero lp Gold 5, and then after those games, i started getting around 15 lp per win and more than 20 per loss. I had won 6 games in a row, and only had 86 lp. I recently went on a loss streak, and got demoted back to Silver 1. Except now im loosing 23 lp per loss, and only gaining 13 per win. This is impossible to climb out of. Im just wondering how its possible to gain my elo back and get to normal lp gain and loss. this has been going on for months and with losing twice as much as i gain it is impossible to climb. it seems as it is unfixable and the only way to get to 100 lp is to get 8 or 9 wins in a row, but that shouldnt be the requirements to get into a series. Can someone please help me fix my situation?

Yeah your LP losses/gains depend on your mmr relative to the division you're currently in. If you win more than 50% of your games your mmr will trend upwards though, so even if your LP might still go down in short term while your mmr recovers, it'll fix itself in time, just keep playing.

Of course if you're not winning 50% or more of your games, then that's more an indication that you actually belong somewhere lower than you currently are, in which case the solution is to get better (which means play more).

Basically just play more.
