Instead of changing and making updates then waiting until people stop bitching...

In other words, would you like a chance to be heard and it actually matter in the game, its content and your place within it.

No, I think there's a degree Riot should listen to the community, but the balance of the game should not be democratic.The decisions should be based on merit. Of course then the trick is to have good judges for that merit. We can only hope.

I could see polls being good for things like "who do you want the next ultimate skin for", or "what theme would you like the next batch of skins for", or even "would you like voice chat in pubs"? though.

That would definitely be something to consider. However how would you feel about the best of both worlds where both the players and riot come together. Such as having a poll on a recent update effecting their play and overall experience in a negative or positive way?

Asking people what they thought of the patch could be useful, yeah.

Another idea that is being discussed on Reddit is:

If they were to encounter a balencing problem and have a few different solutions to it and allow players to vote for like 3 separate totally viable optiones to be tested on the PBE.

Example: if sorakas ability to heal massive amounts of health is a problem then,

A) reduce ap ratios slightly while giving her e an addition that increases armour/magic resist for someone standing inside it.

B) make her heal cost more health if used in a short time span. But provide a tiny bit more health when she lands a q on an enemy champion.

C) temperarorly reduce her armour/magic resist when she casts a heal frequently but slightly buff her ult on herself only.

Hi, thanks for your response.

Yes, some of them are absolute chaos. I'm not saying we should give everyone total control of everything. I'm suggesting that riot get at least general feedback from any action taken towards problems.

My response still applies there haha. The game is gonna lean towards the most popular roles, or at least the most vocal roles anyways. Riot is pretty decent at listening, or at least hearing people out. Just look at the LB and Rengar un-reworks

There will be at least one person for every single thing and even that might be helpful. I do not play on or Tengwar but I'm so happy for them to finally receive what they want. I have also been on the fence about karmas skillset.

Obviously riot gets to decide in the end. But listening to player input is high on their priority list. Indie devs would kill to have a community like this boards or Reddit. A resource like that is invaluable for a game.
