April 16th 2018, 1:36:13 pm I see that you put a massive amount of work into re-working irelia and getting valuable feedback. I like how you did this and allowed feedback from actual players and adjusted her based on what you were told.
However I and many others feel that when Karma was re-worked, the whole listening part got slammed into the garbage and just feels like last minute ideas that got threw into her rework on a Friday night at the end of everyones shift where no one actually cared.
She has a boring passive and her ability to heal has been taken away without giving her something valuable instead. I really tried to like her and she is one of the reasons why I sunk in like a thousand dollars into this game and why I enjoyed playing league. I tried my best to continue to grow to like her but it doesn't really work. The only way she is ok in mid is if you build her completely tank. No one is scared of her and no one sees oh my god, there is a karma I have to be careful. Like when there is a fizz or akali mid or something.
Everyone laughs when there is a karma mid because they think "this is going to be easy". It's hard to survive, make counter plays and ever single one of her skills requires another skill to be effective. So if you don't land one. you are pretty much fucked.
Also countless people posted on the game boards about karma but its literally getting ignored for years.

There have been many changes to League over the years and there are many great new champs, items, maps and so on. The thing about League is we are very organic, always growing, changing and able to improve. I understand where you're coming from and since I don't have a direct line to the developers, I would advise you to put your thoughts on the Boards. I'm not dismissing you, its that I don't have a platform to help get your thoughts across. In addition, there you can garner the support of other players. : )

Like I said, the boards are next to useless when it comes to karma. It's like they have a robot that instantly deletes anything that comes their way when about karma spacifically. Like you could have one single comment within a thousand other people that suggests that the music would be too loud or something. Then entire 500 boards about karma and websites and youtube videos trying to get riots attention. But for some reason that one comment about music or whatever will be in the next patch and the one about karma will never get looked at. The developers would not give a shit about what people had to say about her. I know this because I and hundreds of others have been trying to get through to them for years. Ever since the change. I'm about to sell my kidney and offer them a million dollars to pay attention.

COFFEEANDSADNESS April 22nd 2018, 1:00:11 pm I remember when riot was like " We need to remove her passive because its giving her more hidden power" but then they go and do a stunt like give janna more damage based on her movement speed and other crap. That makes no sense to me. They said they intended to remove this from all champs but gave them hidden power instead.
Also they truly fucked up her looks and kit. Irelia is still seen as irelia with her re-work and it works for her. However karma just looks like a 2 year old with autism and brain damage.

I understand how frustrating it is feeling like you are not being heard. I can see that you are pretty passionate about Karma. We have no way to pass this information to the development team, again the best way for this to be heard is on the boards. While they don't actively respond to messages on there the dev team does look for what the community as a whole would like. There must have been a reason she was reworked or that certain things were added or removed.

can I somehow talk to someone else that can actually do something? The boards are useless. I may as well use them to discuss new hair cut styles of 2018 because thats how useless they are. If indeed they even looked at the boards, then they would have did something by now so that is a lie and you get paid to say that.
The reason she was reworked was because "other team members did not know how to use her kit when it came to her w." So they decided to do a trial and error approach to move stuff around and make her easier to use and whatever, but that backfired and fucked some of it up.
I understand this is not your fault or whatever and I'm not blaming any of you support people. But if this ticket thing is useless ( and its another thing that is ) then I am going to have to find another way to get their attention. ( safely of course so i don't sound like a criminal or something )

This is the higest form of esculation, the boards are really the only way to get their attention. Im sorry you do not like the changes made to Karma but champs must be updated and changed to help keep up with new champs among a list of other reasons.

They actually create the content based around players feedback. This has worked for them wonderfully. However riot has this " fuck everyone and make these changes and just wait until people stop bitching about it " mantra.
I get that this is your game and you get to do whatever you want. Which causes a riot. heh... Perfect name isn't it. But video games are meant to create an experience, another world other than the physical one we live in. People pay money for what they like. Imagine someone bursts into your house and says " were gonna remove the bathroom and put a hole in the middle of the kitchen floor to piss in " Don't like it? go to post something on the boards and we will never look at it. Thats essentially what is happening time and time again.
I'm even considering applying for a job at riot just so I could do something better, just to listen to the damned and forgotten. It does not matter what I think either way because no one cares. But jagex has a great woking way of managing the games content keeping their player and fan base, while not losing many players just like ultra rapid fire does.
Instead of solving a problem or creating a way for the community to help give feedback, either they argue with people and won't give them a direct answer for anything. Or they just remove something completely thinking that its the way to go.
I would like to post this entire conversation on the boards if anyone even looks at it and get some solid answers here. Even though I'll probably get down voted and called out for being a complete asshole to no one in particular, I still have some valid good points that I would like the community at large to discuss.
If certain changes are voted by the majority wins, then its fine. If its for my argument or against, I do not care. I just would like to see the people to get what they deserve. A chance to be heard.
