Tried to queue up for my first ranked match in season 6. I wasn't able to ban.

Title has all the information that really needs to be known. I was first ban for my team, and when I picked a champion, the Ban box was greyed out. As soon as the timer hit zero, it just kept ticking, and remaining at zero. After a few moments, I was kicked back into the lobby and had a penalty. Is this a bug, or did I just get extremely unlucky?
