Assassin update - FIzz

Seriously? Who actually thinks it's a good idea to let Fizz engage MORE and be EVEN HARDER to catch?

Fizz atm has 2 major issues. The first being that unlike the other assassins, he has no safety and is completely reliant on his E to survive. Once his E is no longer available he gets completely destroyed in most situations. The second issue (part of the first issue) is that because his kit is solely reliant on his E he's forced to build straight utility and defensive items which in turn substantially lowers the amount of damage he can't output as an assassin.

I would prefer they change the entire kit (as a fizz main), but if his current play style continues then making his primary strength which is his initiation stronger and giving him abit more mobility to survive is the best way to go.

Lokk, there are just some champs that you can't defend. Leblanc and Fizz, specifically. I've been on the wrong end of too many "outplays" where the LB/Fizz did WHATEVER and oneshot me while taking no damage even if they dived into the middle of my team. I agree with the change of the entire kit, but y'know what? ASSASSINS SHOULDN'T BE ABLE TO INITIATE!

So just because you personally don't know their strengths and weakness, and only know what it looks like to play poorly against then you decide that they're broken and that there is nothing more to it? I'm sorry for your bad experiences but if you aren't at a level where you or your team can't counterplay the champion properly then that's on you, not the champion.

I do know their strengths and weaknesses. I am ashamed to admite I spent time as a fizz main. He's just not weak enough. Leblanc, too, I have mained. She has weaknesses, but they just aren't big enough. Either she gets in and out instantly and does massive AoE busrt, or she gets focused and her team goes in while you all ult to kill her.

Btw I'm copypasting your argument the next time you complain about Rengar.

I've never complained about rengar ever? While I'm no where near a level where I can say I'm good or even decent, I can say in plat elo and above that assassins are perfectly counterable through proper teamwork, team comps, and knowledge.

Not you specifically. We all know how to counter assassins, the problem is that champions like LB and Fizz ruin the game. Not for people like yoe, who don't understand that a game is supposed to be fun, but for casual players and the 95% of the playerbase that is bronze or silver. Not necessarily late game, but yknow what, it just feels horrible to lane against a leblanc or fizz. You feel like you have no chance unless you have a specific counter or are being really competitive on your main.

Then your argument is kinda invalid here. You're saying that the balance of the game and specifically various champions should be changed in order to fit the needs and make the game more fun for the people who don't know how to counter them properly. Riot games of course cares for their playerbase as a whole but they're also trying to make a competitive game here by balancing things around the highest level of play. I'm sorry that you don't find this type of game fun but that's simply how it is.

Yes, the game has to be changed to cater to people who aren't at the top skill level, unless you can find a way to make Riot implement a different balance for Diamond+ players.

Here's the logic behind the game and your counter logic: The basic logic is that as long as there is a skill level at which a strategy, mechanic, champion, or item will have equal parts fairness through strengths, weakness, counterplay, ect. then it's perfectly balanced. This is a perfectly fine logic.

Your logic: It would better if you and other players who haven't reached that point didn't have to acquire that level of skill/knowledge in order to make things easier and more fun for you.

Why is that wrong? This is a purely competitive game. This games design from the ground up is designed to cater to players who have the competitive spirit and find that sort of no pampering competitive environment fun.

Does riot care about their more casual player base? Yes, of course. Does that mean they'll redesign and water down their game to make it more friendly to casual players? No.

People who think assassins should at least be able to accomplish their job.

Maybe as a Rengar main im just a little bit triggered by hearing someone say that...

Riot, I guess. If a champion has a strength that everyone hates, then the best way to improve them is obviously to make that strength stronger and other areas of their kit weaker... right?
