The range and animation of Morgana aa.

For a long time I wonder why the range of morgana aa (auto-attack) is so short (450). For support Morgana it is impossible for her to poke her opponents, and she can't stack gold with her w like before. For mid Morgana, before lvl 5 (W lvl 3), it is really a pain to farm, she is brutalized hard, even her aa animation isn't good... Taliyah has 550 range and can farm faster and better than Morgana for example. Anivia has got 600 range (!) and can easly farm with her R, a lot more faster than Morgana. Swain (Battle mage too) has got a really good aa range (550) and his aa animation is so much more fluid... So why? Poor !

it's likely due to morgana's dark binding.

because of how lich bane works i could see morgana's auto attack becoming a nuisance lacking counterplay.

roots don't "stun" obviously so you can attack in reaction to being rooted, but not being able to move would mean that if morgana had more range or higher attack speed/faster attack animation her dark binding would allow her to follow up with an unpunished basic attack nuke depending on her ability power scaling/items.

I totally agree on that. Players whine about 25 range on their ADC but some mages are left with much less than that. Currently Ivern with his Brush passive, Karthus, Vladimir, Morgana and Thresh have that range - while I understand that Thresh makes sense because he can have a very powerful charged up E empowered basic attack which would make him really hard to trade with. There's also Fiddlesticks with his very strange 480 range.
