ARAM Hell
I can not explain to you a number of times I have been paired with single tracked bots in my games and I am livid. I hate having to throw a game just emoting the whole 20 minutes because 3 of my teammates are feeding robots. I've have had my fair share of ARAM for a while now and it only makes it worse that I can't up my ELO when every other game there is another set of bots ready to send my MMR to the grave as I sit and do nothing because I can't do anything against these guys when they go 10-0.

However, I understand where they come from and how to identify them as soon as a game loads up. And I just want to share that with those who have never encountered or feel like you have encountered them before. Keep in mind this doesn't go for everyone you can encounter this is just my experience
-
They will have some sort of jumbled nonsense name filled with more numbers than a barcode ie. "igaj32ve" or "Vitdjbo19341" This is the weakest identifier because hey, people can name their account whatever they want. But nine times out of ten, it's usually a bot.
-
They will have NO KEYSTONE despite being level 30, which can be cross-referenced at the end of the game from looking at their profile and you will see maybe one or two slots with points, but never a fully completed tree path. This is where my worry starts and my hunch.
-
They will take a nonsense assortment of spells with them, also weak but it looks ridiculous with the champ they have half the time. A
shouldn't be taking
for any reason at all. Again, not knocking anyone that takes spells like that but it's uber suspicious. -
They will usually follow a build path that is strictly in the recommended tab. They'll also get things that are unnecessary in the very beginning of the match like a
that outright buys these
and nothing else with the occasional boot....or two. -
They. Will. Feed. Constantly. Or they will feed and sit behind the turret and do nothing until it crumbles. And I can understand if you're having a bad game we all do every now and then. But you can't sit there and tell me someone was just "having a bad game" if they go 0-28. This the best way to know when you're dealing with a bot.
-
They will every now and then say something extremely out of the ordinary when they aren't alive or in the process of dying. Great examples are as follows: "my mouse is broken" walks straight to the enemy auto attacking "stun him!" sitting around when there is no fighting going on "my internet is bad" as they walk and auto minions while ignoring the enemy team
Other small things like never pinging or responding to pings. Again, not everyone does it to begin with but it just bolsters the other points.
And that, my fellow summoners, is how you can identify a bot in ARAM or any other mode for that matter.
I hope you take this information when you encounter one (hopefully you don't) and report them accordingly.
