bonus armor penetration/last whisper
A little confused, when they say bonus armor penetration do they take your original armor penetration and and then increase it?
Or is it 35% of the enemy's bonus armor?

35% bonus armor penetration works off you're opponents armor.
So if your opponents has 300 armor (100 base and 200 bonus armor), 35% bonus armor penetration will penetrate 35% of the 200 bonus armor, or 70 armor. You will then treat that 300 armor (100 base 200 bonus) target as a 230 armor target (100 base 130 bonus).
Base armor is what a champion gets from leveling up. Bonus armor is from items, runes, masteries, buffs, auras, etc.
