Riot Needs to be Transparent About Placement Games

I think it is time Riot is a little more transparent about placement games.

As an example this season I went 9-1 in placements, with my only loss being a game with an int-er. For context I peaked at Silver 1 last season (yes I know I am bad). I was placed in Bronze 2. I have a friend who was a similar rank last season went 5-4 in placements and got placed in B1. I don't want this post to come off as a complaint, I recognize that it does not matter where you start if you deserve a rank you will achieve it, however I just think its a bit disingenuous to force players to play 10 games under the assumption if they do well they will get something in return.

Let me know what everyone thinks!

He probably just ended up getting matched against better players (higher mmr), so beating them gave more mmr while losing to them took away less.

The annoying part of this season is the lower LP gains after placements. Consistent +30LP and -12 LP for a good amount of time after placements was always fun as hell, now it feels more like halfway through the season, only we got knocked down a shit load of ranks for no reason.

-Expects rito to be transparent about stuff -Clearly has never seen or heard of anything rito has done

I don't expect them too, just suggest they do. Suggestions always help improve a game!

Yeah, no. Look at literally every "big news story" that rito has been involved in over the past year (whether it be the whole renegades/monty issue, the constant patch changes, or the numerous player bans/trades they've done) and the big theme ends up being them not being transparent at all and not exactly "caring" whether anyone likes it or not. Suggestions to change minor game things is one thing, trying to convince them that their main philosophy is wrong and that they should go for a different approach is ridiculously difficult if not near impossible.
