Bard still feels kinda irrelevant compared to the rest of the supports

I love the idea of bard. However, he still feels outclassed by other supports despite the buffs. Following that train of thought, I feel like a few changes to his kit would make him more relevant come late game. Some how, some way, his passive needs to blend with his kit.

In my opinion, Bard's heal, his W, should scale with the amount of meeps he's collected. Right now, it feels like his passive is hard to blend with his kit. If an ability of his actually scaled with his total meeps, then the average bard player would feel rewarded and see the results of collecting meeps, rather than getting a few extra damage autos.

Change ult to a stun that only affects enemies. Remove ability for enemies to follow through magical journey. Make meeps spawn in lane near the creeps, not in random places in the enemy jungle.

You couldn't do all of that. He'd be too powerful if all of those were implemented.

then he would go from trash to overpowered as hell lol a global ult that stuns and is easy to hit sounds balanced

But the magical journey bait is my favorite lol. If you practice a bit it should be almost effortless to be able to stun whoever is trying to follow you. And in those low elo matches splitting up a 5v5 can prove very beneficial.

what if he could spend his chimes he collects like gankplank's coins where bard could upgrade his W or Q or E or R so he can get a power spike.

That's actually a really cool idea. However, if they changed that, then half of his passive would be irrelevant, his empowered autos with the slow because you'd be spending his meeps.
