So my goal this season is to reach gold. im climbing at a pretty decent rate, playing basically only Garen So i was looking for a new top laner. I have several but dont really love them. Just hit 6300 again, so im going with either Quinn or Aatrox Was just hoping for some other opinions on which would be the better choice. perhaps, Which do you think is better currently overall? or maybe which is better at carrying low-elo?

Thanks~

Depends if you want to give up your dignity or your LP.

Quinn is arguably OP, but comparatively balanced right now. Pretty good champion, especially if you're trying to climb. That other one though, I don't think I've seen him before. Is he new?

Well Quinn is insanely strong and Aatrox isn't very good, so that's an easy question.

As an Aatrox main, don't buy Aatrox.

Please don't play Aatrox.

Love yourself and your teammates. I cringe when I see someone play Aatrox in ranked, and for some reason there are so many.

Then again, if you want to be a horrible person you can play Quinn top lane. Most ADCs can't cut it top lane.

Even though they have incredible harass potential on the majority melee roster in top lane, usually a top laner can all in them and easily out sustain their weak early game. Quinn on the other hand can safely get away and just endlessly bully like in the old days when she was popular top.

Also Quinn has a pretty good bot laning phase, so you can bot if your team really needs a tank up top. Usually they don't because of junglers and supports though.

You are used to garen go aatrox. Quinn so squish and it would be weird to go from super dmg tank to squishy quinn. But I do love Quinn she's my fav adc fits my style perfectly cc poke reposition gap closer and roaming laner.

Aatrox lol? No way.

Get Quinn.

If you want to give up your dignity and morality to be evil and cancerous to your opponents, then Quinn top totally stomps this current meta we are in. You should watch some lcs.

Pick the one you like better; the "best" champion changes constantly, so you'll be better as a player sticking to a champion you actually like and getting good at them, rather than just switching to whatever's "OP".

There's a prevailing opinion that Quinn is OP and Aatrox is terrible, but I've faced some terrible Quinns who don't know how their champion works, and some really good Aatroxs who take over games. The upside of Aatrox is that a lot of enemies don't really understand what he does, and therefore won't expect his damage, etc. Aatrox is probably getting reworked sometime in the future, so I wouldn't bank too much on him, though Quinn also might get nerfs. Both champions have pretty strong splitpushing and can win games that way; Quinn also has really powerful roams, but Aatrox has powerful towerdives due to his revive passive.

If you like Garen, and are looking for another juggernaut, I'd probably wait until the next champion release when (I think) Darius is getting a price reduction. Trundle, Volibear, and Olaf are also really good lane bullies. If you want to win games through splitpushing, Tryndamere is probably the best option. Xin Zhao is broken right now. Fiora makes everyone on Boards cry. Rammus is surprisingly powerful in Top right now. Malphite is rock solid. Basically just pick what you like and get good at them

aight so idk whats the hate on Quinn but she has a wayyyyy higher winrate percentage top,mid and bot. also recent IMT game where Huni rekt toplane

the enemy got so scared, they flashed just from the threat of getting jumped on

personally i pref quinn but if u like aatrox, he is really forgiving in mistakes etc whereas with quinn there is alot of sustain damage, cc, mobility, outplay, and kill potential. but ofc if u fuck up early then ur done

get quinn, aatrox is a strong pick but require setup because he gets shafted by alot of champions

Quinn is fun if you like counterganking or generally just getting the jump on people. The blind is painful to deal with for your enemies ;)
