@Meddler any changes planned for Cloud dragon?

Nothing for 6.10, not sure beyond that. It is the weakest performing dragon from what we've seen, it's also the hardest to make use of though, so some of that underperformance might be learning curve. At present we're giving players a bit more time to get used to using it. We'd also like to take a look at how organized teams, whether pro or regular, benefit from it, given its more co-ordination dependent than the others.
Personally I think it should be the least impactful. Movement speed can easily become overbearing, so at the very least it should be the weakest of the four.
Whether or not it's too far below whichever dragon buff is in third is a different matter. Hopefully we hear something about it soon.
I sure hope not, cloud dragon is extremely strong but is underutilized because people don't know how to do cross map plays properly. It's also good for backing more frequently. I'd rather see Ocean drag brought down to the level of everything else because it's insane.
Maybe the best way to go about it would be to have it give half movement speed in combat?
I mean, I also had an idea where it could also give a short (2/3 second) burst of even higher movement speed once out of combat kicks in.
On the subject of the Dragons, are there any plans to change the colors of the Dragon Symbols? The air dragon still throws me off because it's blue, and most people associate blue with water.

Obviously you've never gotten 3 cloud drakes with
Got me like

I'd honestly prefer a flat +5 in combat ms per dragon
Can we get some sort of icons on the scoreboard showing how many of each dragon each team has? Sometimes it's hard to keep track of that
The main problem with cloud drake, I think, is that its intended use (enable better out-of-combat rotations and cross-map plays) is one that doesn't come up in a large percentage of games. Many games I see that aren't plat/diamond/challenger are pretty much 'Lane until a certain arbitrary time, then push mid and teamfight.' There's no rotation going on, really, because rotation requires a degree of coordination not found on teams of random people. Extra AD/AP is always meaningful. Extra health and mana is always meaningful. Extra objective damage is almost always meaningful. Extra out-of-combat movespeed is useful only if you have a team that knows how to rotate and is willing to do it. It's the only dragon that has a buff that depends on team strategy and synergy. If everyone just wants to pile in mid and teamfight for 10 minutes (and a lot of players love to do this) then it's of minimal value.
I'd expect organized teams and high-ranking players to put this one to better use, but for the masses, it's that dragon you kill in the hopes something useful spawns.
Get rid of the movement speed buff. Have the buff reduce recall times by 1s/1.5s/2s.
Teams will absolutely fight over this, and it still helps splitpushing.
I find it quite useful actually. When two teams dance in front of each other dodging skillshots is easier. Then think of chasing - you either catch someone who barely made it out or, if you are the one retreating you get a free boots upgrade with just one dragon. And finally (probably should have started with it) you are much, much better at surrounding the enemy team. Think outside the box, if something doesn't add raw power doesn't mean it's useless.
simple idea. have a time after you go into combat that it remains before falling off. like 3 seconds. enough you can still keep up and everything.
Wouldn't making it be flat movement speed make it viable? buff the movement speed to be 50/100/150 and then call it a day. Makes it contestable
Or you could just make it half of a movement speed bonus in combat, whyle full out of combat :)
The only buff he could get is a % of the out of combat MS is gained in combat aside from that he's good for repositioning around the map and splitpushing.
Oh, I thought this was a topic regarding Aurelion Sol xD
Anyways, I haven't been having any issues with Cloud Drake - seems alright. Of course, there are better things that could be done.
