OKAY SO THIS PISSED ME OFF; I went 7 / 3 in my placements (Flex Queue) and placed Silver 3. Then the "We have rolled out a potential fix for the matchmaking issues" thing came up so I had to do another placement. In Silver 3 though, I had one another game and also lost one, meaning I would have been 8 and 4. Just now, I did another placement game WHICH GOT REMADE and I got placed BRONZE 3. I have some complaints, and I'd like my Silver 3 or atleast Silver anything back. This is completely ridiculous considering my wins and losses were still technically the same and the game that placed me bronze got remade ....

you were silver last season so this looks correct to me

That's why I'm waiting for the soft reset at the start of the season... Just enjoy some free time, all that'll end up doing is just affecting your season start a small but, that is unless you're gonna use flex. If anything it's not your set in stone rank, not until the start of the season when they do that soft lock.

they said it would reflect where you were likely to be placed next season, which tends to be lower than where you ended the previous season. so honestly, the changed placement seems accurate, sucks though.

I feel your pain. I went 8-2 in my placementd and initially was placed in Gold V was quite surprised obviously. Started climbing i think i was upto 63 lp in gold v. Had to do the rolled back placment game, lost and placed into bronze Iv. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me. Going 8-2 intially should have a lot more baring on the placements.

Because of the MMR mismatch in Flex Queue, you got reset to the original starting point (pre placements). But remember this is only Preseason, the rank you accomplish now WILL BE RESET AGAIN! The rank you get in preseason does only influnece the placement in Season 7 to a SMALL extend! (only your starting point in season 7 is affected by Preseason ranks) Sidenote: 1-2 Tier drops are completely normal in preseason.

I.E.: You were Plat 5 at the end of the season, were placed high Silver after placements, now got placed low Silver. If you now climb to Plat again, you will then only be placed in low Gold at the start of Season 7!

So dont worry to much about the current placement!
