Lp loss & gain
Ok so i won a few in a row record is pretty good, i am in b4 but i got 6 - 9 - 9 - 12 then lost one and lose 23 lp so what is going on....

Sailor Mint1 votesLong story short. MMR isn't reset between seasons. You dropped your MMR down to ~500. The expected MMR for a Bronze player is 800+. LP gains will return to normal once your MMR catches up.
If you had been in a higher tier, the system would have demoted you. Since there's no lower league to demote you to, it simply clamps your LP gains and pushes you back down.

COWmanLord1 votesMmr makes a huge difference. Right now I keep ending up in games where everyone else is a few tiers higher then me, with at least 1 being a whole division above me, but I get about 30 lp per win and only lose 10 for a loss.
