DoT champs always outdamage burst champs in the end. That is the price for burst. You deal less damage overall, but the damage you do deal comes much faster.
Um... You ever thought about how much damage thornmail does to people?
Why did Shyvana bring Smite and then didn't even build a jungle item? Also, why the fuck would you build black cleaver on her when you have Triforce? That build makes no sense.
I don't think you understand what thornmail does, or AOE damage on tanks, or the nature of burst damage vs. sustained damage.
You think that is a lot?
Have you seen the endgame damage totals on Brand in this meta?
If this bothers you, never look at Singed end game damage. I have out-damaged entire teams.
