  • This is only my opinion. i am not claiming to have full evidence of what I am about to present. I am merely stating what I have been observing -

You've ruined the game. Plain and simple. Your game will continue to dwindle in popularity because of the chimps you have working on the development team. As far as i am concerned, everyone I know is royally pissed off about this stupid meta you have created. Support mains and Adc mains have been hit incredibly hard these past patches. I bring this up because there was one thing holding this game together despite the already known flaws. Structure. Structure kept the game going, fun, and competitive. Champions had lanes and roles. You've completely demolished that. That premise is gone. I am not here to argue numbers with you or anyone.

I use to be able to go into a game fully confident of how I was suppose to play. I had my win conditions set. I knew the match ups. None of that knowledge applies anymore with the exception of a few games here and there. No one is trying to prove they are the better Adc or support or whatever. The rule of the game is pick whats OP. That's not fun. Thats not competitive when the game is decided in champion select. The game is in complete chaos. There is no more structure. Anybody can go anywhere as long as their are OP. Skill level doesn't matter near as much as it did. All that matters is the champion you are playing. I'm done with this game competitively. I will play enough ranked games to maintain my D4 status for the rest of the season just to earn what I have played for. You have turned this game into a casual one, so I will play it as so.

I used to be a support main. I haven't touch the role since the bot lane has changed. It's not because the role is boring, it's more because I don't know how to play bot lane anymore.

I been saying the same shit since the preseason. They been steadily ruining the game since season 6 season 5 was bad but the introduction of keystones is where shit REALLY started to go down hill.

It's just bot lane, games shouldn't be focused on one particular lane at all! there should be all around strong lanes.

Yea honestly I just have so little fun playing this game now. Actually... I dont think I have really even had fun this season maybe in a handful of games. I have reduced my play significantly over the last couple of seasons. Luckily in gold I don't have to worry about decay so I don't even have a reason to play on this account anymore. I started playing on my other account I used to practice other roles in but.... even trying to rank it up or take the game seriously is so damn hard.

All these people complaining about how ADC used to be op. Atleast our roles were still meta (Top main here). There isn't even an ADC anymore. I've been in this game since Season 2 and stuck with it through every screw up, even if it affected me directly. I thought I would always support this game, but now it's just not League to me. If there is ANYTHING that would make me quit this game, this ruined meta will be it.

Honestly this new meta is kind of fun. It has more variety. Also the whole idea that champion picks decide the outcome of the game has been happening for a while now. Before this change happened people went for the op choices. Nothing new. And I get it you don't know what's going to happen with the match ups now because of the weird combos. But honestly I think its time to stop whining and time to learn other champions. Its not hard to determine an outcome of a lane and learn how to succeed with the enemy champions being different to how they used to be. Sure its going to take time since the pool is huge but this change made the game feel less vanilla.

League of legends has indeed changed. Even on vacation I've seen the majority of the community complaining.

Whatever champion is considered op makes the game considerably easy to snowball.

Look through my match history. I instalock Evelyn support and manage to snowball to victory. The matchmaking was indeed poor I shouldn't have snowball so easily.

Age, knowledge, understanding have abruptly screwed up matchmaking.

Age 31 Top Garen. 7-5-3 Age 21 JG Yi. 13-11-7 Age 14 Mid Zyra 3-17-10 Age 18 Vayne. 6-10-3 Age 17 Blitz. 7-10-7

With this in mind Who won the game you think? Who had a higher chance in bot lane depending on individual skill and team comp? What champion became toxic first based on individual skill and team comp?

Meh, I like being able to play Darius in the botlane and not getting called a troll, especially considering 90% of my top lane opponents these days are all ranged.

its ok for you to move on i mean its just a video game :) im a jungle main and I have learned if you want to truly enjoy league you have to accept change . I love league :)

Realistically speaking the game isn't going anywhere anytime soon. The vast majority of the player base is in lower elo, which has never really followed the "meta." Less than 10% of players (and that's not even taking normals into account) are actually affected by any of this, but of course the vocal minority always speaks the loudest. We'll be seeing messages like this years from now. This is just common sense.

Heh, I agree I play Azir vs Veigar he’s low on farm until his whole team with a bunch of OPs, comes crash my lane and I’m being focused for free. “Skill”.

Ye i hear you, my play time has been significantly reduced over the last month or so despite my free time being at a 5 year high. The game just feels way too casual, same reason I never really enjoyed normal blind pick is creeping into my ranked games. Just feels bad that there really aren't any games enticing me and I still want to enjoy league of legends. Back when I quit Call of Duty (for eerily similar reasons) I turned to several games like battlefield, MAG, and eventually league, but nothing really seems to have that magic right now. Hopefully this next patch puts the game in the right direction but honestly I'm not keeping my hopes up.

I have been having a lot of success with support lately actually. However, this means jack shit... I had a lot of success before this meta, the difference is the lane was decided by how well bot lane played together and strategy rather than who can hit buttons faster on the more OP champion.

Before this meta, I played Nami as a support, like how a support should be played. This meta, i play balls to the wall Nami.... I just go ham all the time, ye i die a whole lot more, but i do so much damage early game it usually ends with several kills for my team. I also take as many kills as i can, doesn't really seem to matter any more, if i get enough kills i start building AP.

Basically, its way less fun and i pick random characters into Support and just go ham all the time. As long as i have CC and my bot lane partner isn't AFK it works out. All strategy and tactics are out the window, land the CC and hit all your buttons, and Ignite.

Also, Exhaust is useless now since it doesn't stop 100-0's anymore, all it really does is slow (which is why I take it on Nami, i like the slow so i can land Q easier). Idk how many times i've exhausted a Wu or Talon or "insert OP champ here" and watched them erase at least 2 people on my team...
