If you call out a moderator even without profanity or harassment you can be instantly punished off the boards because one of them felt like it

Eh, the mods are becoming increasingly authoritarians, but are struggling against the reality of the internet and people being able to say what they want, and no amount of blacklisting will stop them. Which is why they created their own little gameplay+ safe space, where they instead created a whitelist.

I don't blame them completely though, the expectations of a moderator have expanded so much over the years. It use to be that mods had the authority to primarily do things like remove suspect links and such. Now they're expected to police the behavior of the users and hold them to some arbitrary stricter standard than what is legally allowed. Seriously, there's zero excuse for the moderators to be wasting their time on most of the list of things on their "universal rules" page. Trolling, Insulting/Disrespecting, Gameplay & Rank shaming (which they selective don't enforce), Naming & Shaming (how many times have I seen ghostcrawler posts/comments...), Pejorative language (actually just a human right), "hate speech" (actually meaningless since they're based in California), exc...

Prob said more than that. I called out like 5 moderators at once on one post about riot's position on troll picks. Basically saying that they didn't have a real stance because they don't really play the game and that they're just going to echo riot no matter what.
