Because the ability is unstoppable If it could be cancelled by CC it would be garbage

It doesn't ignore CC. She will always go back to her 1st location. But if the CC is long enough it will still be on her when she goes back.

I'm super excited for yet another "original" champion with hard CC, mobility up the ass and invincibility.

actually, your forget CDR and ultimate hat. ultimate hat maxes at 15% and is applied first (0.9 seconds off, 5.1 seconds total) then 40% CDR if you wanna swing that way (2.04 seconds 0ff) totaling at a 3.06 second CD ult at max rank

and besides, at multiple instances in the video, she didn't exactly ignore the CC, she just returns back to her original position, but usually in a timeframe after the CC ended, like poppys knock up only affects her until she hit the ground but was already returning midair, but skarners ult still pulled her back for the rest of the duration

Because Zoe ult is a dash forward and then a FORCED dash backwards. ALL dashes (Minus Yasuo E and I think Kalista passive) “ignore” non-displacement CC. While in game code terms, the CC takes effect, when a champion is already in dash animation, it will allow the champion to finish their dash and then the CC takes effect, if there is any time left on it.

Displacements are the only CC that can stop all dashes, and while I haven’t checked interactions yet, I assume it’s the same for Zoe.

Because she will always go back to the first location meaning it is very obvious where she will return.
