Because Riot separates Ranked MMR from Normal MMR. Many high rank players only play ranked, so the few times that they play normal games the system thinks they're basically noobs...

It's not the game that sucks, it's the matchmaking.

From what I understand, Riot's looking to improve that with the Draft Team Builder, which should pull MMR from the existing MMR systems rather than starting from scratch like Team Builder did. We'll see how that works when it gets here.

Check their wins and their team, two of them have more normal wins than the other team combined almost twice over while one of their teammates is only summoner level 16.

This looks more of a case of using smurfs or new friends to lower their team MMR.

But he wasn't a first time Lee, he had 500 ranked games, which should mean a 0/0/0 KDA is impossible.

He never played Lee Sin in ranked. You can tell by the (0) next to his name, and the 0/0/0 KDA. His 500 games were with other champions.

(For comparison, check Katarina, has (11) ranked games etc)

Silver kid has high mmr and so do the unranked people. or maybe the diamond and plat have low mmr. rank doesn't matter its MMR lol.. and mmr for norms/ranked are quite different. If you play ranked seriously you may peak at gold. If you play normals seriously, you'll find yourself with plats and diamonds cause no one gives a shit in normals. Point is its MMR rank is meaningless in terms of matchmaking and skill for that matter.

I'm just finding it funny that the Plat and and Diamond guys are using smurfs to play against lower MMR players.

Maybe it is just a pair of friends they are teaching how to play, but I'm not just how trying to match them against higher skill players is helpful if they are still trying to learn the game fully.

Regardless, poor form.
