And don't come at me with that -5ms bullshit meme. I have been banning this champion for the past two months for so long that I forgot why I even started banning her in the first place. I had the honor of vsing one today after I stopped banning her today. Champion is absolute bonkers and needs nerfs, real ones. Hit her damage, her mana costs, cooldowns, base stats, scalings.... fucking anything that makes her have a clear weakness. I cannot believe she is still in this state.

I started a thread about why she was unfair and how to make her fair, but it wasn't popular with the boards, although I've never been able to get a discussion involving stats going on the boards.

Give her the Kayn (shadow assassin) treatment.

Passive: IONIAN FERVOR: Irelia's basic attacks deal 4 − 17 (based on level) (+ 4% bonus AD) Ability power bonus magic damage per stack, up to 16 − 68 (based on level) (+ 16% bonus AD). At maximum stacks, Irelia gains 30% / 40% / 50% bonus attack speed and deals an additional 32 − 136 (based on level) (+ 32% bonus AD) magic damage against Hybrid resistances icon shields.

Passive: IONIAN FERVOR: Irelia's basic attacks deal 5% / 10% / 15% / 20% of post-mitigation damage dealt against enemy units as bonus magic damage per stack. At maximum stacks, Irelia gains 30% / 40% / 50% bonus attack speed and deals an additional 40% of post-mitigation damage dealt against enemy champions as bonus magic damage.

Irelia deals too much hybrid damage to effectively itemize against. This makes armor her clear stat to use against her. Removed flat damage. Bad idea. Tweak numbers as needed.

BLADESURGE: HEAL: 12 / 14 / 16 / 18 / 20% AD Irelia needs to pay for sustain now.

Done. Her insane damage and her waveclear were both just hit by virtue of being mitigatable by one stat. She needs to buy lifesteal or take ravenous hunter and armor pen if she wants to reach her previous levels of damage/sustain, which would make her squishier.

Well she did receive some nerfs and the most recent nerf of 5 movement speed, but I agree she needs some meaningful nerfs. I for one would like to change her stacking mechanic to 6 stacks from the current 4 and make it equally as powerful at 6 stacks as it is at 4 right now. That would be the first thing I would do and maybe lower her W damage reduction atleast early game.

And when we look at it statistically it is true. Her winrate aswell as banrate has and is lowering. Whenever I play her I definitely feel that she is worse this patch than 8.22. It doesnt mean they wont nerf her, it just means that any nerfs they planned on where either cancelled or reduced.

You getting your ass beat by Irelia or anyone for that matter doesnt mean the champion is op. What's with this mentality of when you perform good on a meta champ, the champ is op, but if youre perfoming good on a nonmeta champ it just means that you're a good player?

300k Irelia main. Tbh they should remove her W and E and give her the old W and/or E back. Keep the R and Q and maybe adjust the passive she is really annoying to play if enemy can move sideways unlike 80% of the playerbase

A nerf isn't gonna work, she needs an ability to be removed. Her kit is op.

They need to stop the hyper mobility dashing everywhere left and right, it's like watching anime.

She is broken and highlights that the creativity at riot is running out, they are just putting steroids in new champs/reworks.

OP you are doing something wrong if you are losing against a champ with 48% winrate so easily.

Furthermore dont you main rengar? From my perspective he is a far more toxic champ than Irelia has been.

That champ has literally 0 counterplay for slower and immobile non tank champs, pops ult runs around camouflaged 12-20 seconds , runs&jumps at you, kills you in 0,5 to 1,6 seconds

At least Irelia loses most of her potency if you avoid her ult or E or outright cancel her Q, and she is fully visible the entire time which makes counterplay much, much easier.

Rengar tho?

No janna/lulu/alistar/tahm if playing marksman? GG.

Mage lacking potent selfpeel? GG.

BS like rengar is why riot has to add more shit like Camilie, Kai sa while keeping stuff like Jhin running at olympic speeds or vayne spamming invisibility with true damage.

I am all for Irelia nerfs.....if Rengar gets pushed down to her current winrate at the same time^^

I am sure marksmen, mages and non tank supports everywhere would rejoice in happiness.

Maybe realize the rework was a somewhat failure since all it did was frontload her damage and gave her more frustrating mechanics. It seems every modern bruiser is just frontloaded damage.

It looks like her win rate is below 50% according to champion.gg. I agree that she's unfun to play against but the solution isn't necessarily to nerf her into the ground. The fix isn't a simple numbers nerf. We need to identify the aspect of the kit that makes her unfun to play against and make changes, not necessarily nerfs or buffs. I feel like her win rate is pretty balanced at the moment but she just needs some small changes to make her less frustrating to face.
