The link is a video by an influential Akali main. I believe that the shroud nerf is ENOUGH and all riot should do for the moment (the nerf being removing her true stealth under tower) But they also decided to go and remove the healing she gets from her Q. This nerf will make Akali terrible. She already has a low win rate and this Q nerf will make her HORRIBLE. As for her ban rate, it has gone down significantly, so why are they STILL stuck on nerfing Akali? (I play many normals in silver and bronze Elo and I see her banned occasionally now, instead of CONSTANTLY) Riot is nerfing her so hard for NO reason. As a Mastery level 7 Akali main, I hope riot will consider ONLY NERFING HER SHROUD, and see where that gets them. Her Q healing needs to stay, it is essential to her kit.

First off I'll say Professor Clickbait is completely overreacting. The Q nerfs won't make her unplayable, it'll only make scaling with her harder. I think she's still completely playable and I won't stop playing her. Her early game will be worse, but once she builds gunblade she has at least some form of sustain, and she starts doran's shield.

With that being said, I do agree that they shouldn't have removed her heal. Even as an akali player I wanted her sustain toned down, but not completely removed. Since her rework they've been turning her into a pure scaling champion, constantly nerfing her early game and giving slight buffs to her late game. I really hope they start reverting these nerfs and give her her heal back, even if it isn't on her Q. Since her release akali has always had built-in sustain and I don't see why they're changing that. Seriously hope they're not just gonna buff her damage, ignore everything else and turn her into oneshot.exe. Would be a real waste of a champion.

I just want the old akali back she was so much funner than this new one in my opinion... Or bring her mom into this since as she says here mom was the fist of the shadow and make her the old school akali

Its incredible! I can't even play the champion I love without seeing someone in champ select saying "I see our mid is trolling with the akali pick so ill troll too" this is so insane. PLEASE fucking fix akali in 9.4.

honestly RIOT , i've just started playing your game ,and i was having fun with akali after hours and hours of playing her , but you killed all the fun, you took away everything that made her unique.

I like it. I tend to play her every time some friendly player form my team bans my yasuo after I declated it. Akali requires a lot of skill to pull of decent playthrough and these nerfes are making her chances to win even lower, which is exactly my goal :D
