I always though spellvamp or gunblade ought to shine on hybrid fighter/bruisers.
I think by giving lichbane two equations and spellvamping off the first it could work nicely on say Evelyn, Elise, morde, maybe ap warwick etc.
The spellvamp would work at 50% reduced effectiveness to make it comparable to triforce/lifesteal.
Triforce's 30 ad and ap and 8 movement speed is almost comparable to lichbane 80 ap and 6% move speed. For 700 more gold triforce has HP, crit and attackspeed to boot, not to mention phage passive. And its sheen proc does considerably more damage off the bat compared to lichbane as a standalone item. Not to mention it can lifesteal off the spellblade proc, lichbane can't.
I don't see any reason why lich couldn't be rearranged such that it could have two equations; one for bruisers that don't stack ap and would use it to sustain with, the other for ap carries.
Would go like this:
if Equation #1's dmg is greater than equation #2's output than equation #1 is used.
Equation #1:
... deals 65 (+5 per level) magic damage (+ 25% AP) bonus magic damage.
Equation #2:
... deals 75% base AD (+ 50% AP) bonus magic damage.
Or equation #2 could take 55% of (65+5 per level) (+ 50% AP) bonus magic damage. Instead of using base AD. either way works.
Even if your stacking ap with lichbane it can only spellvamp off no more than equation 1 worth of spellblade's damage. Thereby allowing lichbane to spellvamp with making it op.
It would be similar to Warwick's q in that it picks whichever yields the most damage.
, dealing magic damage for the greater value between a flat minimum amount or a percentage of the target's maximum health, plus additional bonus damage based on his ability power (flat d
Or for equation one:
How about (50+ 5 per lvl)*160% similar to iceborn gauntlet/triforce. But differs in that it would do magic damage of course.
Idea to give revolver a slow instead of having to build cutlass for it.
