So with the new jungler enhancements, I think Leona/Bard/Roaming supports would greatly benifit from running smite. This gives them amazing enhancements to supports to get free buffs from an enemy jungle as well as give the support the "exhaust" from the jungle item.
Not a bad thing.
I'd imagine they would have a weak early game, potentially costing the lane.

Smite is a pretty legit option on Supports atm, but you have to be more careful as you will be losing Flash or a different spell.
The extra dragon and buff control is just amazing if you can live without Flash.
smite can't be compared to exhaust. Exhaust is far more useful and is potentially game changing down bot.

No. Exhaust is far greater as it allows you to help your adc or team bring more damage to your opponents. Plus, if you run it and take the jungle item then you are taking away a slot from your build that could be used in a much more effective way.
You would trade about half of the effective use from exhaust (depending which smite you chose.) in exchange for having better frequency and better Jungle control.
The problem is that you need to get the Jungle Item to have that effectiveness. That may not be in your budget in the long run, and might screw you over in the short run.
2players having op chicken buff seems smart but during lane pretty useless, more dragon controll do
I've seen spectated match which Support go and grab 
and they won the match... maybe not bad...
