Vayne's True Damage Timer

I feel like vayne's true damage is really strong since the fact her stacks resets instantly the moment they are used. I feel like she'll be more manageable to go up against if they add a short timer to her true damage stacks. Like with ekko's passive and braum's stun and what not. After the stacks are used up and the effect activates, it shouldn't be able to affect the same target for a few seconds

Coming from a Vayne main, I honestly think a reasonable nerf would be to lower her attack range to 525. She would keep her damage and mobility, but have a shorter range.

If they do this they need to give vayne's W an active to compensate

I could actually get behind this considering there is currently no counter to %hp true damage at all. as long as it was like 2-3 secondish timer it would be okay imho. Never been too fond of her uncounterable %HP true damage (building armor? Its ignored! Building hp? That makes it stronger!).

That way power could be shifted to other parts in her kit because right now she pays a ton for that %hp true damage

Reduce base movement speed since her ult gives movement speed to her target.

I'd have to say that if they added a whole 2-3 timer to her True Damage procs it would completely gut her as an ADC. Don't get me wrong, i fucking hate vayne with a passion, but her main damage source comes from auto attacks, unlike other adcs who have better escapes, bursty ults, Q nukes etc. To compensate they give her the W steroid.

The reason why those passives like Ekko's have a timer is because they have abilities that can proc it in rapid speed. So they revolve around burst damage. I'd go with AUSTINODOOD's suggestion of reducing her auto attack range. That way when she's chasing you down you'll have more counterplay to escape, and if she wants to deal that obsurd %MaxHpTrueDamage she'll have to dive deeper into the fight and risk getting blown up. It'll make her more reliant on tumble to dance around.

Nerfing the AA range would also nerf her early game too, which she is supposed to be bad at anyways.

Vayne's W is fine, she is perfect because she is doing what she's supposed to do. HOWEVER, I think I have a solution to her better early game. Her passive is the REASON she is able to proc her w easily. So if her passives movement speed started out at say 10 and gained movement speed per level, I think it would keep Vayne more late game and take off early game power.
