Kha'zix Q animation speed is faster on PBE is this a bug or will be added to Live also?

I was testing the new Kha death blossom skin on PBE today and noticed that the Q animation is way faster and way smoother, is this going to Live? This change is so strong for Kha'zix for so many reasons and it's the right buff he was looking for for a long time now. It makes his combo smoother and rewards people for being really fluent and good on the champion.

Would love some feedback to confirm if this is going live or not thanks ! :)

Sorry to disappoint, but no, that's not an intended change. We're looking into what's going on there now.

As to why we don't think this is a good change that's because we don't want to constantly creep cast times/attack times quicker and quicker. We believe having some degree of telegraph/reaction time's important to give players time to react, allow proper visual/audio representation of gameplay and space out ability usage somewhat. Faster, snappier abilities will almost always feel better and, completely understandably, will always be requested. Feel's not the only consideration we think needs to be weighed here though, with pace of game (choice versus twitch reactions especially) also a really important value.

This is a good "buff" towards Kha'zix. It isn't going to make him broken but as long as you speed up Kha'zix's Q speed at least a bit it'll give him the nice boost he needs to be in a good spot.

Lets be real for a second. You pumped all of Kha's damage into his Q and making it reliable will be a good change to make decent - good and make him played.

This isn't just the buff that we want for Kha, it's the buff he's always needed.

please reconsider. the tank items and broken champs already running around are putting kha zix in a rough spot. an assasin meta will always be the most fun meta. give kha zix a smoother feel so we have more options at the junlge rather than nidalee udyr or fill in your own tank.

I can see instant casts being anti-fun because of other champions that have or would have instant casts would not have much counter-play if any, but khazix's Q has plenty of counter-play already and that would transfer to when he gets instant cast or close to instant cast Q. Other instant casts do not have isolation like chogath's ultimate. If cho's ult did have isolation there would be plenty of counter play because he can no longer flash insta kill you under tower or in a minion wave etc it all relies on your positioning and not reaction time. So stating that this would be poor because of reaction time makes no sense because it's more towards positioning.

I'm not asking for it to be instant but close enough to instant where it feels rewarding to good kha players. Kha'zix's problem right now is that he does not feel rewarding to play and is clunky. Everything else is fine and from my experience (I can confidently say I know Kha the best and inside out) this is the exact change he needs to make him the rewarding fast paced squishy assassin that everyone wants. I've tested the changes plenty on PBE and I know from experience that this change would not put him over the top and would put him where no more complaints and or changes would be needed.

I would love to discuss in some sort of instant chat system so everything can be discussed between me and Riot, I want to get all my points across in one discussion. Meanwhile Yasuo can use Windwall to block a skillshot from another angle, and the most important to block skillshots in the very last time frame

Currently when you Q someone walking into a bush or flashing away, it's 50/50. Sometimes you hear and see the animation go off and nothing happens, other times it does actually connect.

Other champs already have instant moves with no counter play outside of bating it.

Kha also does not instantly blink on top and Q someone. He has to get into range which requires an E, R, really good positioning, team coordination, etc. All of those have counter play between sweepers, vision skills like Lee Sins Q, CC, etc.

The lag on an already casted Q in melee range doesn't make much since. If I see and hear the move go off, it should register. If not, then remove the ambiguity please, because it is very frustrating to rely on random factors when playing a champ that is already considered underpowered (unless extremely fed).

Who would've thought the bug champion would be buggy. But seriously it probably is a bug or something no one picked up on in the notes. I am hoping it is the latter, but I am always ready to be disappointed by riot's sadistic tendency of teasing changes.

I thought i read somewhere that Riot increased his Q animation speed to the same as his auto speed to clean up Janky-ness. might be mistaken but upon reading this i was like "Yeah, that was right." so i dunno.

Imo, I Have been a Kha'zix main since late season 2, Khazix is in a bad position right now because of meta, you pick him, everyones first thought: 'omg a khazix, so useless cant do anything in teamfights' this is half true, A good Khazix player can make him work, Khazix atm does not need any numbers buffs he needs small buffs like these, worst feeling is dying to someone when im in mid q and realising i would have got the kill if my q animation was .1 second faster, Riot should reconsider the change and actually test it out, I have watched nutty play it on the PBE and looks as if thats exactly what good khazix players need, Something that rewards khazix players and obviously No khazix main wants him to get buffed numbers cause then he will just be banned. Riot Reconsider and go discuss this with nutty he knows kha more than anyone ^_^

I think it's a bug, just look at Lunar Wraith Caitlyn spotlight, on FBE it's noticeable faster but normal on live. And it's not on today PBE patch note so assume it's a bug. But it could be a buff for later (though I don't think Riot is planning to buff kha). [slayer-jinx-unamused]

riots balancing team has one aim :to make this game intressting if they have balanced every single champion in this game ( what is actually not so hard ) the game wouldnt be so popular anymore and wouldnt make so much fun the best example is kog maw . how is this possible that they are so carefully with kha zix but not with kog maw those guys are making me sick cant even play my kha anymore because u cant kill a shitty adc anymore if he builds steraks or blue ez or whatever .assassins are right now on a very shitty spot and what is riot doing ? well they are buffing adcs that assassins are not pickable anymore .LOOK! what they are changing in the pbe :jarvan ... kha zix cant get 0.3 second fast q but a jarvan is getting so hard buffed that he will be a pick or ban pls take kha and rengar out of the game its a shame that these little stuffed animals are treating my dead grandma
