My thoughts on the ARAM changes.
So I am a massive ARAM player, basically only playing ARAM for the past year or two (over 7k games, don't ask). The positives out of this patch are mainly the hp packs giving a redemption heal, and of course the rr pick and choose system, which I adore. But, the negatives just are too much and I am considering just quitting the game all together. The main reason being the dark harvest nerf, that was what I found so enjoyable about ARAM; was the being able to play trundle and still do dmg after getting one sheen item then full tank, playing taric and getting a titanic hydra with dark harvest proc and half hitting a squishy. In my opinion that was what ARAM was made for, just a fun hectic mode full of random moments and interesting fights. Not something that really needed to much balance in it, because it was made to not really be that balanced. Also with the new "buffs" to adcs unless you are up against a comp that is extremely bad, you do no damage until late, if you can make it too late game that is. I feel like the meta now on aram is you either win or lose there is no close games anymore, going against a team comp of bruisers even with an adc and a decent team comp you just lose since you do no damage from what I have seen. Its not really as fun as it was anymore. Even if two decent team comps go against each other usually its still just a one sided stomp because of one better champion on the other team, which wasn't like that before. I only really play rift when I'm playing with a group of 5 since I want to have fun playing the game and mess around, play memeish comps and just mess around, but with these changes it just feels like they are trying to force you to build normally on ARAM (which is fine to a degree, like no full ap garens or something) but like there isn't much wiggle room anymore for little fun items to be put into a build because your rune can make up for it. I don't know, if there aren't really any new changes back to the old style of ARAM I don't find league enjoyable anymore. That's just my thoughts.
